Assassins and Stealth..

So i noticed in pk, If you are a mage class and are uncharmed, you will never beat an assasin.
How are you supposed to beat an assasin of the same lvl when they are hiding in stealth then they appear with a a grip of stuns and your dead. No time to heal, No time to plume shell. No time for anything...
I also heard they could use spark while in stealth too... Fair.
Anyways in my opinion that is completely unbalanced and pwi is giving the tideborn far too much.
Anyone got any solutions for a cleric vs assassin?
I would like some advice.

I think there should be a genie skill to detect them

Can always get the awareness potion in Raging Tide if you own that city. 30 second effect, 60 second cooldown for that. Or find a HA assassin at the enemy assassin's level or higher and get them in your squad. They can point out every assassin in the area and survive long enough against them for you to help.

Spark and stealth is kinda unfair, but genie skills are broken enough already. I really do hate when sins use stealth in the wrong way in instances leaving rest behind to fight the mobs though... lazy bums >_>

Sin stuns, auto-attacks and you die while in stun.

You can use genie skills while stunned like when a fist bm drops from the sky and uses roar. In any case there's so many ways to go about this assuming you don't die from the triple sparked stun.

I'm assuming that if the sin can't afford a charm he probly doesn't have good gearz, and since 99.9% of sins go dull dex the hp pool would be around 3-4k which uncharmed is 1 tempest and wield thunder.

as long as you dont get 1shot by a sin's (very possible, fairly likely) triple sparked Headhunt (wich might kill you normally, and will probably kill you if it crits (1/4?)) you could use expell to outlast the stun (AD is unlikely to outlast headhunts 5 sec stun) Expell, however, won't let you do anything. You could expell the sin. The sin would holy path and gtfo.


Either way, you burn your genie. If you expell the sin, and, as i said before, the sin holy paths, you will have, at most, a single shot before he clears your range. The sin is VERY likely to have deaden nerves on. Your single shot, even if it crits and deals 1337x the sin's hp in dmg, it's not going to kill him. He'll just hit a random mob with chi gain skills, shadow escape, and be back with a demon spark stun within 30 seconds. unless your genie has 150 mag or vit, it will still be burned. You'll be tanking a demon sparked dd, and your genie will be out of comission till long after you'r dead.

If you expell yourself, the sin has an even easier time of it. he'll RDS you. it wont do any dmg, but just casting RDS would give him 150 chi. He'd normal shot you for 4-6 seconds, then tackling slash. By the time expell wears off, you will be immobilized for at least another 5 seconds. And he sin will have enough Chi to demon spark again. or to silence you. or stun you. or he could have used shadow escape instead of his 4-6 seconds of normal hits, and he would have full chi: enough to demon spark, hit once, stun you (instant cast) for 3 seconds and finish you off. I'm fairly certain you have NOTHING you could cast in .8 seconds that would save you from 3 seconds of demon sparked ****. You're dead.

For AD: Tackling Slash, RDS, Shadow Escape. you get out of Stun. Sin silences you, followed by Subsea Strike/Power Dash. Follows up with normal hit untill silence runs out. he incapacitates you again with instant stun. from this point on, you get ***** with normal hits, with 30% added dmg or twice as many crits, depending on how the sin chooses his skills. The Ultis, and possibly even the silence, are still demon sparked. you MIGHT survive with a charm. the sin might choose to skip the ulti, and instead silence you for another 4 seconds, 1 second after the stun ends. once again, you cant cast anythign serious in 1 second, and the silence has a 95% chance to interrupt.

Conclusion: Sins are OP. Your chances of beating a fail sin are fairly slim. Your chances of beating a CS ***** sin or a sin who knows what he's doing are almost inexistent.

... or you can get the Tideborn city apoc and pop that which will allow you to see sins the same lvl as you or lower or if they didnt lvl the right skills ie a fail sin you can even see higher then you sins
