i might be making an archer, is it a good idea to keep fists on me? what build would i need to use fists?

You could if you want since archers attack damage is cut by half in close range, so fists could help if a mob gets to close, but in pking not a good idea.
But its up to you if you want to use fists or not. b:pleased[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I wouldn't recommend any other build but pure dex for archer. This means 1 str, 4 dex every level. If you want to use fists just use the highest level fists possible with the pure dex build because archers don't really become effective with fists until high levels when -interval gear and demon spark are available. Switching to fists when mobs get close isn't necessary because you should be killing mobs before they reach you.0

Fists / claws are good at 99+. I don't recommend it at low levels.. just stick with the metal skills + wingspan/ pledge. Those do full damage at close range.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I believe there was a span early on, around the level range of Dreaming Stronghold, where I used claws as a secondary weapon to finish off a monster after it recovered from knockback. Overall though, they're quite unnecessary.0
