Same here, I'm happy when I lvl just from questing : ) I've only ever done the odd BH and have never used a hyper stone.

But about the point of this topic, yes it is becoming easier for people to hit 90+
and it is p1ssing a lot of people off. Especially those who worked harder for their lvl than others. But at the end of the day everyone needs to remember that most MMO's from what I know, change in this way. Things get implemented and people get unhappy about it.
The thing is, if you're really that unhappy about it, then you can quit if you like and join another MMO. But the same thing could, and likely will happen to that game too. Or you could stick with it, just accept this is how things go, and find other things to entertain yourself in game.

    Ah the good old days...

I remember farming lowest herbs to get my nix. Took me about 2 months - I got it by level 43; when they were still about 18m or so and actually rare.

My herb picker leveled from 1 to 23 just through picking herbs. Used to have 4 hour sessions of nothing but running in circles and picking up nectar/salvia etc, shouting at noobs who were always there trying to outpick me.

Then I went onto pick even more lowest herbs to get my herc by 63 - just in time too because it was the golden age of TT soloing, when each 1-2 run could bring in 4-5m without 2x - we didn't know of 2x back then.

Took me about 4 months to get 40m for both legendary pets... funny since these days I make much more then that per month by merchanting, thanks to the screwed up economy.

Right... how nice you're so altruistic... all worrying about others... I hit 90 in "the good old days" don't remember being praised or worshipped. Was one of the 1st to hit 102. Was nothing special as well, besides half ppl asking how I afforded so many oracles.... b:embarrass

I remember the days that friend and foe congratulated me on 90 in world chat ><

That was on my first char, a barb that leveled to 90 without BH/FC. then they world chatted go farm for 2 months to get your 90 gear *shuckles*

Then Bh's came around, i re-rolled a wiz and bam. 2 months later i was level 90. This dented my pride of leveling my barb QQ

I do think the BH system was kind of an blessing for pvp servers lol. Many might highly disagree and i do think 3 BHs day is to much.

But in a faction with loads of kos, specially if you're on the hit-list of the dominating factions on server there was really to hard to lvl before. There was no way to start up a grind party or zhen party or sometimes even quest because as soon as you got spotted you would get crashed.

Occasionally you get back up and a pk-war starts, which i fun and all but not when you really wanna lvl and just wasted a training scroll.

At least when i was 80-90 or so on Lost City kos crashing grinding spots was kinda fun for everyone, since you and friends could fight back and have a decent fair fight and a chance of winning. Today u would get crashed by like an army of lvl 101 with +12 weapons, Nirvana gear +10 gear and there is really nothing you can do but die and cry i guild chat if you're a low 9X b:chuckle.

At least most pvp servers here have a decent balanced in strength between the factions. But can eventually turn out like on PW MY-en where u had to spam DQ-quest or grind at a hidden location in the desert to get any exp since dominating faction was so strong no point even trying to grind openly. If enemy patrol spotted u leveling than you got no more exp that day. I remember hiding in the most secluded part of Heaven up in the mountains to avoid getting spotted so many times on MY-en <.<

So in that perspective BHs is kinda good. You dont have to kiss the **** of the dominating factions so they let you grind in peace.

For people that wanna fly around for some random pvp actions, the BHs system sucks tho. Even the most popular grind spots are dead empty now.
