Ive played this game for about 2 years, only thing that still makes me play is setting up little goal for myself.

Recently it was getting my veno +10 Lunar wand, than it was getting my barb to 90 and now it is farm Nirvana weapon for archer and Hyper Frost my cleric to 100+

Ive gone extremely bored and even hateful against PWI and left for other games several times. But somehow you always come back - since the other games sucked even more i guess and you miss all your amazing chars+fashion+friends b:cute

When people want motivations to keep playing, i just tell them to go lvl up an alt, just nub around doing silly quests for few days its awesome.

What this game really lacks tho 90+ is more funny instances

I have done that, multiple times, although I generally come back because I don't have time to learn the ropes of a new MMO.

I find that, for me, life has managed to keep me interested in PWI because of well, just life. It's a good break for me from work and college, and it gives me something other to do than stalk Facebook when my friends and I are collectively procrastinating on homework/projects/hiding from people ect.

And if I do get bored while playing, just set up shop and web surf until I get bored of that and want to go back, or just stalk the forums.

I have learned many things about life, myself and others while in college:
1)Life is like getting a cream pie with broken glass at the bottom thrown in your face
2)My friends thearpists think I need therapy b:shocked
    3) Apparently I'm the only one who knows how to wash dishes

PWI is suppose to be a form of entertainment. If you don't feel that way anymore. Then goodluck and I wish you will find something soon to amuse you. :D

Make your motivation people. Mobs never change, however, what makes mmorpgs special are the people you meet and the connections you make. I found this especially true with myself. I started playing Perfect World I think back in 2007 in my Junior year of high school. I had come here with my guildmates from another game. We had fun on the Malaysian servers, and it was such an awesome experience being able to connect with these people through my teen years. Well, at the start of my Senior year of high school, and ironically, on the launch day of PWI, my graphics card went *poof*. I was devastated, but ultimately, there was nothing I could do considering my family's financial instability at the time. I went through about a year and a half without playing any games and finished out my schooling. Well, about a year and a half later, upon starting my university life, I got a new macbook, and to no surprise, downloaded Perfect World. Upon logging on I discovered that my entire guild had come to PWI from the malay servers. So what did I do? Made a cler, flew them to Arch, and asked every single person there if they knew anyone from my faction, lmaoo. Well, low and behold, I finally got in touch with someone and my old faction and I had a great reunion. Given, yes, some things had changed, but small things aside, it was as though it were a year and a half before, and nothing had changed.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is, Don't let "the game" be the only thing you associate yourself with. Build those connections, make those bonds with people whom you love being around. Never forget the "mm" aspect of "mmorpg"

This made me cry seriously, which is the reason why I cant leave this game yet. When I told my faction that I was thinking of quitting, they all yelled at me that they're going to miss me, and they don't want me to leave. I felt bad afterwards for saying that, but deep down in my heart I have connections in this game. Here's a tip: keep your friends for a very long time because they're the ones that should keep you motivated.

Friends ... only reason why I'm here ... if they moved to another game I'd follow them probably ... I couldn't care much for pwi itself.
