No Words After Starting

I thought my graphic card was going bad, so I went and bought a new one. That was not the problem.

I even uninstalled the entire game and then re-downloaded and installed, patched it all up and verified...

Here is the start-up screen, everything is great here...

    So nothing happens when you click on the box on the blank one? Have you tried a verify from the launcher?

    Yes, I said that I had verified, and from the launcher too.

    I can hit enter on that blank page, I can even type in my name and pass (invisibly) I can take it all the way to char select page, but still no images beyond the blue background and a few graphics...which are extremely slow and glitchy, I forgot to add.

    I have updated all my drivers, IE8, ran all the driver tests, and still....nothing. So strange.

    Hmm that card is fairly old now. Have you tried going to the settings from the launcher and putting them down? Just go minimum and see if that helps.

    Yes I tried that too...I even set my monitor and game res as low as it can go.

    and the card more than meets the graphic requirements.

    I'm just setting up a brand new laptop and mine is doing the same thing. Let me know what you figure out.

    I do have the latest Flashplayer. My husband just spent four hours updating everything that could possibly need repaired or updated, and he is of the opinion that it is not my graphic card but probably my motherboard going bad.

    We are going to try installing a new motherboard in the next day or two, and will let you know how we do, Aryanna and Darsie.

    I went to the HP web site and loaded the newest intel driver for my laptop. Seems to have corrected the issue.
