Fix The Glitches.

almost 80% of the time when i land from flying i glitch get stuck half way in the air or on the ground and every time i move i glitch back, as you can imagine this could be problamatic when in the middle of fights etc. not to mention when i jump (especialy up and down hills) i often get stuck, this makes it imposible to kite things on hills which is pretty essential for an archer. this glitch has been around since the beggining of the game, the GM's wont do anything about it unless we band together and force them to. support this thread :)

    You are wrong, this glitch first showed up when Gnies were introduced.
    Before that expansion, that hasn't happened :-)

    I agree with the OP. I am so frusterated with these glitches, yet patch after patch they are not addressed. How can such obvious glitches go on for so long without being taken care of??b:angry

    Cleric magic def buff bug (it can't be overwritten when it's on) has been here ever since PWI started, and I think it has been in the PW for even longer. So yeah, no bug fixes are coming soon I think.

    The going down hills glitch is due to something about pulling the character down. Something like that.

    When I land in the water, it rubberbands me back to the air for a second and then into the water. In arco, when I land with my flying mount on a diagonal path around the middle of arco, it rubberbands me back into the air.

    The landing in the air & then getting rubberbanded when you try to run down has an easy solution. The game always has trouble with diagonal landings. When you're perched up in the air but off your mount already & want to get down, DONT keep running. Run a tiny smidge, until you start to fall then STOP running & let yourself fall straight down. You'll land & not rubberband back up again.

    erm my glitches have actually gotten better i think. the air thing was worse on my lost city archer but now i dont seem to notice it execpt the walls in fb59, those are hell.

    when uget glitched it because server think u was running faster then u was suppose to be most afected class by this are wf,bm when using sprint and mage when teleporting

    Is that true? I guess it would explain why every single time I use shadow jump/teleport then I'll get dragged back to where I started.

    Annoying when I spark > tele > glitch. Yay! I lost 5 seconds of my spark and have 4 mobs running after my squishy ****. =D

    Funny that it hasn't helped at all really. People wall **** on CN servers in FB39, and to be honest, it is much worse than flying ****.

    Yep, because as all good game developers know, it's much better to make the game suck for everyone than to actually try to prevent hacking. b:victory

    I dont think its so much a programming issue. EVERY game is prone to hacking. Even That 10 million subscriber game (the one with the mohawk grenades b:chuckle) has hacks out there. Any code someone can write, someone else can find a way to counter it.

    However, what this game severely lacks, is GM staffing. There's many many periods when no GMs are watching the game at all, thats just absurd. In most normal games theres a degree of player policing, that being of reporting the hackers, and then there's multiple GMs on at ANY given monet to check out the situation or moniter it themselves & ban these people into oblivion.

    This game suffers both from the issue of lack of policing, as well as a pitfall which is unfortunately unavoidable for F2P games, which is that once an account is banned, another can be just as quickly made. No need to re-buy a new authorization key. As such, it does become very hard to keep the hackers out.

    I dont agree with their solution, not by a long shot. In fact i hate many of the developers decisions *cough*mass packs*cough* as well as these 3* mirage & DQ price nerfs. However, i'm not sure the solution, a real solution, is easy to come by for F2P games in general.

    edit: more in-game GM hiring would do a world of good however. Something which they OBVIOULSY have the money for but would rather let the community degrade rather then give up some precious profits.

    Edit2: I dont blame the GMs, thats akin to blaming a waiter at a restaurant when there's only 1 working, but the place is packed. I blame the management for not having more staff to cope with the situation.

    If we all sat and thought there would be a list 10 miles long and probably 100 pages of glitches in this game.

    My main one is the barrage glitch. It doesn't work like the description says it does. I would enjoy my character a lot more (even tho I already enjoy it lots) and would use barrage more if it worked like its supposed to.

    I agree with a prior post about the rubber band glitch and many of the other glitches didn't exist prior to the implementation of the genies and the 2nd expansion.

    Might I ask what glitch you are talking about? Is it a glitch for the regular BoA? Or sage/demon? Cause I've got lvl 10 BoA at this point and I didnt notice any glitching so far o.o

    BOA is supposed to work just like Dragon's breath for wizards. It never has. It clearly says on the skill that it continues to cast until you run out of MP or click ESC. It doesn't. It only works until the mob you targeted is dead. I'd like it to work as it says or for them to change the description of it. Altho we've both went 97 levels without it working properly, you can't tall me its not aggravating that it takes 2 sparks to cast and doesn't last long ... its especially irritating in places like FF where you need it lots.

    Or even if they won't fix it, they could make it to where it only requires one spark. But if they could do that they could just fix it to work right. I hate using the skill and maybe I'm spoiled b/c I already have a high level wizard before I made my archer and like the way DB works.


    TL;DR the description says it works one way.. and it don't.
