Which Holeen to kill first?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can confirm the rumours/superstitions about the two Holeen mobs at the end of the FF (Frostcovered City) instance.

When you get to the last boss there are two mobs "Holeen Of body" (larger mob) and "Holeen Of soul" (his smaller brother).

Different squads seem to want to kill these in different orders and have some rumors/superstitions about them. I have even had squad members get mad because someone grabbed the "wrong" Holeen first lol. Rumours I have heard recently are:

Killing the small one first gives you more spirit reward, killing the big one first gives you more exp reward.

Killing the small one first gives you some kind of attack bonus for the final boss (Champion of Of fientazzar).

Killing the big one first gives u more flawless drops from the final boss (Champion of Of fientazzar).

So have any players tested these rumours out or can any GM/mod confirm if any are true. Is there any reason to kill these two in any particular order?

    That I know, is not true.
    Most squads I've been in have killed the small one first, and we got three flawless drops.
    As for killing the bigger one first, we actually got only one several times.
    methinks it's random.

    I've only ever been in one squad where the large one was killed first, and this was because of a freak genie pull that went wrong in about every single way you can imagine. We didn't get any extra flawless drops, and if there was an increase in EXP and decrease in spirit, I didn't notice it.

    Every other squad I've been in kills the little one first.

    I really don't think it actually matters, but this is like the other FC rumour I've heard that says "If you kill all the mobs on the elemental boss (every single one in every single coloured circle) then all FC bosses will only have 500k HP or less."

    As of yet, I don't think either rumour has been proven true, and it sounds like these ridiculous TT myths you get running around.

    The rumor I heard was that if you kill them both at the same time, they'll both be dead. b:quiet

    Dont kill either of them and they actually have a chance to drop FC golds.

    if you take a lvl 1 with you drop rates will triple

    If you AoE both of them at the same time you will become a GM. True story.

    there is no diffrence in drops/exp

    the only reason i pull the bigone is because it runs around less

    Kill a hamster 1st, then Champion will spawn with only 100 HP & drop 1 gold weapon for every member of the party. b:chuckle

    Nomather how you do it, soon as 1 of them dies the other one disaperes and champion of w/e it is will spawn.

    I once heared a rumor that if you kill the big one first, the little one won't disapere, which is why people always only do the little one. Also not true :P.

    If you have the party leader port to Raging Tide before Holeen is dead, you can pick up a quest that will open a secret room in Frost and it gives you about 2.5m exp if you use 12x hyper.

    I heard that if you ate the younger one's porridge and sat on the younger one's chair and slept in the younger one's bed, that you get an extra five million EXP, because he has the best porridge, chair and bed of all three Holeens.

    (I would have said smallest, but that may have killed the reference.)

    I'm glad I'm not the only one. (Excluding that one time with the fail pull... yeah that one time sucked but eh whatever. You haven't had to suffer that fate. xD )

    Speaking of which, but uh, gratz on 93. (And if you were already 93 last time I saw you, I apologise. I... really should pay more attention to that kind of stuff. )

    The thing that always amazes me about ridiculous rumors like this is, who do they think is programming all this crazy stuff? These guys can't even make Magic Shell work properly, and somebody thinks they put in something that changes the drop rates of the final boss based on which precursor boss you kill first? Seriously?

    i been in a squad where we killed all the "light boss" mobs and the HP debuff is true.
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    Seriusly? I'd imagine it to only get you the weak version of the diabolic shocktrooper.

    Anyway, you'd probably need a damn high lvl squad to pull it off. Sometimes we even strugle to kill the usuall order of mobs in time :P

    you can kill them both at the same time.
    and get exp from both.
    then the main boss appears as normal.

    how we did it was get them both down to about 2-3k life.
    then wiz(me) hits them with aoe and they both drop.
    you will know you got them both because of exp and it will say demonic tranformation 2 times in chat box.

    If your worrying about which one to kill you are in FF for to long .. Get off the hypers and go do something else.

    I normally kill all mobs for that boss (w/ a big squad), never noticed any difference on other boss difficulty/HP (never bothered to look though). Also you can also spawn weakened version of that boss w/o getting 100% of the kills if you only miss a few.

    I was confirmed today, that if you killed the small one first, the final boss would be easier, but if you kill the bigger one first, the final boss would be a "beserker" type boss

    Completely false. Which you kill first has no effect on the final boss.

    search on pwdatabase
    if bosses can spawn with different version of hp, or other things
    they are on pwdatabase, if not they dont exist
    on pwdatabase exist only one big holeen
    so no matter which little hoolen u kill before
    big holeen will be the same everytime
