Safety lock red names

All red names use the safety lock. Whats the point if they don't drop? Get rid of the no dropping items. There is no real penalty for being red anymore.

    Without SL, they'd be using Guardian Scrolls. And if they wouldn't, they either don't use Safety Lock either or they won't PvP in the first place.

    So they still wouldn't drop stuff.

    So basically, the people who hate SL are either newbie hunters, even more so on PvP servers, or merchants in the Guardian Scroll business.

    Um....You realize that if there is no SL, then they'll use Guardian Scrolls. If there are no Guardian Scrolls then they'll just bind everything to themselves.


    Most PK'ers don't carry about items in their inventory anyhow. So...chance of drop is really only from newbie PK'ers who don't know how to use SL or Guardian Scrolls, or what either of them are ^.^

    Lets get this stright if your on a pvp server expect to ge tpk'd sooner or later i use dget camped by 70% of harshlands server and was voted 2nd most hated player b:pleased
    iam 93 now i still egt pk'd i use safty lock and dollz to be safe safty lock only nabs use without carrying dollz also sO STOP COMPLAINEING Xd I still ge tpk'd i dont qq about it i get up n go after them,i go red yea big deal its fun i go in SP but my rule is i dont kill an yoneunder lv 50 because that interfers with quests n its bannble lol i wont kill an yone in sp whos under 50 now i fur 60+ expect see my axes iam nice person but i fur lv 60+ expect to see me in harshlands :)b:laugh i ge tcalled fail hybred pwn though :) yea safty lock needs to stay its wat lowbies used to pk lol inform every one if it gets taken away thoguh so we go buy dollz for 120k each

    I don't care if you use dolls, thats fine by all means. I just don't like the lock being free for everyone to use it.

    perhaps activating safety lock should have some sort of penalty then - like a few thousand xp points or sp points to activate it?

    Shulkie: That would **** too many people off, and require too much work for PWE.


    Also, considering the fact that Safety Lock resets each time you logout and then back in, many, many, MANY people would make hundreds, if not THOUSANDS, of complaint threads and tickets. So, do you really wanna see all that, or just the few newbie's that complain about getting no drops?

    Safety lock should stay, it's been a part of the game and always will be. If you don't like not getting drops then be quiet and don't pk. Only expect to get drops from those who don't know any better or those who are unlucky enough to be killed after lock times out. SL is there for people to USE, and USE it they do.

    Comes from someone who prob runs around with the 'doesn't drop on dead' weapon from supply stash lvl50 b:bye

    Think you're opinion will change once you are farming you're **** of in TT to get that weap/armor/ornament you want. Think you'll be using SL and/or dolls as well to not drop that stuff you worked so hard for.

    SL already has a penalty.. Gear shatter b:cry

    First of all, the Safety Lock is not a PvP tool. Its main purpose is to prevent drop/sell/trade the gear/items you carry in case your account gets ****.

    PKers beign favored by it is just a minor exploit devs haven't figured how to fix, or just don't wanna fix at all.

    There is a penalty when using SL while PvPing. The shattering gear system was implemented in order to 'balance' this issue a lil' bit.

    I'd said it in 2 threads like this and I'll say it again.

    I'll make a char on EACH server. and hang around rednames..jack all your drops when you die..and watch you QQ about it untill they beg back for SL.

    Okay so except for one person and myself everyone here is on a pve server. Safety lock works to well for the higher lvs who just pk people at random. Like i said is there even a penalty anymore for killing white names?

    Everyone uses safety lock in PK, Your stupid if you don't.
    So I think you should stop QQing & running around with your "doesn't drop on death" weapon, and gtfo.

    (Also there is a penalty, your gear shatters with safety lock on b:sad)
