    Hi everyone- unfortunately we have noticed a small spike in account phishing on multiple servers this week. This is a reminder that if you receive an in-game whisper from someone, even a friend, to visit a website that asks for your Perfect World account name and password in exchange for "free gold", DO NOT submit your info on that site.

    If you have done so and you notice that your account has been banned, it has probably been locked for your own protection, so please submit a support ticket and we'll get you all cleared up as soon as possible.

      Indeed, this was the case in HT the other day. A random guy named "freegoldd" (Lol really?), starts spamming in green text using that special text color editer. Spammed in common chat in west arch a website for hours and hours.

      Also, small note - Might wanna sticky this thread. Up to you really.

      oh ya, maybe should add "Don't give Email Address in Public" too coz...

      1. If they know ur ID name, they just need password
      2. Password can be recovered and the info will be send to E-mail
      3. E-mail address can be **** with some way ( i heard it can)
      4. If they open ur email....they will kno ur password o_O
      5. Now they have ID and password and even u change pass they can have it again with "Forgot Password?"

      If you give your account details to anybody you don't know or trust, you deserve to have your account ****.

      Would you give your credit card details to a complete stranger?

      Would you tell your brand new neighbours your bank account details?

      Would you post up your email accounts for everybody to see on these forums?

      Then why are you giving away PWI account details?

      You get the idea. If you give away details like that to people you don't know, I'm sorry, but you're stupid and you deserve to have your account ****. Maybe you'll learn not to give away stuff like that in future.
