Wizard Genie Type/Skills?

Hi,
maybe you can help me because i got some questions about how to build a good genie for a wizz.
1. Genie Type: Which one "should" be used and why?
Since genies are not given class specific it seems to depend on the creation day of the char which one a player gets at lvl 1
I mean the genies got all some extra stats depending on their type
for example Zeal for Magic Discipline for Con .....
so with the genies base stats + the attribute points +affinity points (+ luck points) i have to stat my genie in a way so it can learn the skills desired with spirits.
So choosing a certain genie would make it basically easier to learn skills of a specific skill tree lets say some skills which require high amount of vit would be easier to learn with a con genie and so on.... This leads to the final question -->
2. Genie Skills: Which ones are considered usefull and why?
There are so many different genie skills some are class specific some are not please tell me what would be skills worth to get and why i mean i often read something like " my poisoned sandstorm hits hard" --> which refers to the extreme poison genie skill which adds 20% dmg for 1.5s i guess but i didnt found any usefull threads about which genie skills fit best to the wizard and wheather or not the class specific genie skills are worth to get. Therefore i ask you to share your knowledge here and write down your genie builds in the following way
Genielvl
Luckpoints:
Genietype:
Stats(Without Gear):
Stats(With Gear):
Points in the Affinities: WD WTR FR ER MT
Skills on the Genie with lvl: like LvL 1 Earthflame
3.Luck Points question:
it seems to me that a genie gets more luck points all 10 lvl the closer the genie lvl is to the character lvl is this true or is it just random distribution?

I have no detailed analysis, I'll just outline my "main" genie (keep in mind for pve at the moment).
Infliction Genie (str-based) because of the skills I choose for it:
Cloud Eruption (gives chi), Second Wind (instant heal), Holy Path (genie type doesn't matter really b:cute), Frenzy (less energy usage), and personally I haven't decided on my 5th skill yet but I'm thinking of Tangling Mire. I know not very useful for mage classes, but the skill is so cheap (in energy cost) and I need cheap skills to spam/link them with the others, plus it's AOE instant slow and pdef reduction if I am in a squad or for Blade Tempest. With my 80 str on the genie it can get quite good.
Not sure if/when I'll replace Second Wind with Tree of Protection, maybe later on when it becomes worthwhile (don't have much HP at the moment for it lol).
I plan to have 80 str, 43 vit on it, and the rest in mag so I can spam skills more often (energy regen rate).
My genie lucky points are 57/70 at the moment. If you have a less lucky genie I suggest you don't put so much in str, as after putting 40 points into it you spend 2 points for 1 str (40 points means PUTTING into it, not the total, if Infliction starts with 15 str, then after 55 it starts to cost 2 per str).
Dexterity-based genie is also VERY useful. There are a LOT of good skills for wizards that rely on dexterity, and I heard that Spark (cheap fire skill) STACKS with Undine (is that true?). Extreme Poison also interesting to look at, though it's a debuff and not as useful as Frenzy because of it, but at least you won't die fast (frenzy lowers your gear defenses to 0 when maxed b:shocked).0 -

I'm fairely sure Spark doesn't stack with Undine since they both give the exact same icone (fire resistance debuff). Usually skills that have the same icon don't stack. However, Undine OR Spark stack with a ''magic def debuff'' like the one the clerics have. I believe there is also a genie skill that does that... But usually the best combo is Frenzy + Extreme Poison like you said, which both stack with Undine.
Also, one nice thing to know about Frenzy... It doesn't really take your def to 0. It reduces your def by 100% of the regular value. In other words... let'S say your self buffed with your P.Def shield (+100% P.Def) and with cleric buffs (+60% PDef and MDef), during frenzy, you are at 160% of regular PDef value and 60% of regular M.Def values. So it really isn't 0.0 -
What you chose is up to the way you play. I can simply give you an outline of common skills used by mages or you can find high level mages on your server and see what skills they use by inspecting them.
But most common used genie skills for a mage is: Holy Path, Frenzy, Fortify, Badge of Courage, Cauterize, Blood Clot, Absolute Domain, Expel, Extreme Poison, Tree of Protection, Leaf Dance,Spark, maybe Second Wind at low levels. Now of course you're not going to get all of these at once. Play around with them and find out what you need protection against. Nixes giving you trouble? Get Bloodclot/cauterize. Getting stun locked too much and those nasty assassins giving you trouble? Get Fortify/Badge of Courage/Expel.
@Borsuc: Yes, Spark does stack with Undine. It's nice if you have a decent DEX genie, but one of the biggest problems for me was it had a very small range and it only affects fire damage.I'm fairely sure Spark doesn't stack with Undine since they both give the exact same icone (fire resistance debuff). That is interresting... Usually when 2 skills or pots give the same icon, they overwrite themselves and don't stack. Is there any other similar combinaisons (same icon) that stack instead of overwriting?0

I got another question her about the Luck Points- is there a way to fill up missing luck points to get lets say a 80/80 or so genie?0

My first post ever in these forums. (Victory)
Anyways, what I did on my genie (for dueling, PK, pvp) is this:
Second Wind, Adrenaline Surge, Absolute Domain, Holy Path, and Occult Ice.
Second Wind I don't really use, just for PvE mostly.
Adrenaline Surge I always use to start off the duel against a cleric. They try to sleep, it makes me immune to sleep. So then I start my usual chore of spark, frostblade, undine, BT then 1 hit kill. :P most the time that works.
Absolute Domain I do not have it maxed yet. It is only level 5. But if you watch carefully you can see anyone using their triple spark and trying to get a 1 hit kill on you.. at least.. if you're like me and love a challenge of dueling someone higher than you. You click domain right before they cast, and you resist it and waste all their spark, then attack back.
Holy Path I use for running around cuz I'm so slow.. :P
And my favorite... Occult Ice. This is what REALLY gets me my dueling capability. Whenever dueling a BM, I FoW them, freeze them with Occult Ice, then distance shrink, and sutra, undine, then attack. I usually 3 hit them and they only get 1 hit in... probably even none. Depending on level, of course.
If you didn't figure out what all the skills do, here's a list of the level I have them at and what they do for that level:
Occult Ice-Level 10- Freeze target for 6 seconds
Second Wind-Level 10- Instant heal depending on strength of genie
Absolute Domain-Level 5- Immune to damage for 3 seconds, and immune to movement debuffs for the following 2 seconds.
Holy Path-Level 10- 15m/sec run for 6 seconds
Adrenaline Surge-Level 10-Immune to sleep for 7 seconds.
My genie is an Infliction genie, with 58/80 LP. It has 70 strength, 40 vit, and 35 mag.0 -

i have a longevity genie, 53/80 lp and dex skilled.
skills:
tree of protection: saved my **** a few times :P
frenzy: useful for hogh dmg sometimes
extreme poison: useful in pvp (more dmg)
holy path: if u want to get away fast or just 4 fun
absolute domain: if u see someone channeling something badass xD
well, i like my genie0 -

Yup Spark does stack with undine as it also works of percentile basis. so if you have target with 1000 fire def (I know just a round figure to demo tho)
undine = -60%
remaining 400 fire def
spark level 10 = - 30% fire def (each dex point = 0.7% more debuffed) so say 10 dex = 37%
252 left
However more dex you have more percentages it take. My genie has 61/100 LP and 100 dex
so thats park lv 10 = 30% + 100 dex at 0.7 per dex = 70% = -100%
now you can't drop a targets fire def to absolute zero but it does baseline it for about 6 seconds to what a target fire def would be with no gear on. Either way you combine this with a sutra combo of D. Pyro, Pyro, WotP, Pyro and thats a hell of alot of damage in a short space of time. Also works nicely in PvP and if you got enough vit on genie
(Spark + Tangling Mire) & Blade Tempest = DEAD target!
Apart from that Tree of Protection for heals is nice, holy path cos we are slow as hell, Extreme Poison for more boom, I do like Frenzy but you gotta be careful as hell with it. Apart from that absolute domain and bramble rage are sweet, and for PvP I have Fortify cos it annoys the **** outta BM's
Elemental Weakness I can't say im fond of though OK for psy's clerics and veno's I guess but 20% aint that great considering we already have Undine. Good part is it debuffs all 5 elements hence why ok for Psy (no debuff like undine) Veno (wood water and fire attacks) Cleric (Metal)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
I don't need no pdef, cos I got ... BOOM HEADSHOT !0
