Archer or wizard for PVP?

    I would choose wizard....mainly because of the high damage per hit that they have(the highest among all classes)

    And @ endgame......Wizards get a TREMENDOUS boost in power. Wizards are known as " The endgame class" Wizards become one of the strongest classes @ endgame,and one of the most feared.

    Archers are good all throughout lvls 1-90 or even 1-100

    But then @ endgame you will have to highly refine your gear in order to compete with other classes(you can compete with "lower" refined gear....but it is hard)

    However for an archer....once you properly refine your gear...you will become a challenge for almost any class.


    But what is more important than any of this^ is to find which class suits you better.....and which one you enjoy playing the most. Me and Wizards just clicked togather :P

    By playing a class you enjoy most(and with enough skill and/or cash) you can become pro using any class. b:victory

    Youre asking in the wizard section, obviously most are gonna say wizzy. Personally I just prefer the whole concept of a wizard than that of an archer. Sure archers have awesome DPS, but what I like is seeing HUGE numbers :) But in the end its about what you prefer, both can be pretty cool.

    as long as devs allow archers to use fists, I'll take Archer over Wizard.
    I play both classes endgame (fist archer on private server - and I don't have all the -interval that are available here, e.g:tome, cape) and wizard.
    Both classes need some external financing if you want to make them count, so , the better return for investment is archer.

    pro wiz > pro archer

    a suckish archer that can just spam arrows on a wiz that have no idea what his doign will win

    a good wiz will stop archer from using fists and 1 shot a archer when he get a chance,(/hits archers for 9k after undine with sage bid non crit)

    hmmm funny thats what I use.. I don't hit archers my level for 9k non crit.. If I undine -> frenzy -> poison -> atk charm -> BIDS I will generally hit for 7k non crit (assuming they use both pdef ornaments). I don't understand how you could possibly be hitting that hard being that we use the same weapon, the same skills, and being the same level.

    i got pretty close to 13k magic dmg without buff whast urs? i really dk why i do way more dmg then u but i do, i could post a ss if u want

    hehe with tt90+3 quoit at lv98 i hit only 4k on lv100 full buffed archer with 3rd spark+dragon with pure mag build and 3,xk on cleric (was a udi9ned ea on him crited 11k)
    but what i noticed in pw calc the real refine difference when i do 3rd spark coming after weapon is +10/11/12 :/

    (ok i want wait till i lv up cause got all ulti and weapon mat but i think max a double difference will be not more if weapon tt99 sword will be +8/9)

    Well if you don't wanna post it up, I'm just going to assume you exaggerate like mad. If I'm missing something obvious that would tell me why you hit harder than me, I'm sorry.. but right now I just don't believe you. I've got sage BIDS, sage water mastery, +10 lunar wand (with sapphire gem), lunar ring + a lvl 99 ring (magic attack from rings should be relatively close).. I just don't see you hitting that much harder than me lol.

    u dont have to belive , and im not trying to say adroit my wiz is better then u

    what im trying to say is archers are a 1 shot at worst case low the hp with gush then shoot them down

    Don't compare LC archers with DW archers.
    I know some good ones on DW, with mag ornaments, good refines and shards. Out of those only a few of them PK. The rest of the archers PKing are basically a 1shot to a undined SR.

    i said prety close. its not yet 13k but its close to. i have 2 luanr rings so its 97 x2 u said u only got 60 magic dmg one. and i got 2 slot on my wep so thats another +75 dmg

    that +75 shard is actually multiplied by 5 ... so it adds about 500 magic dmg to char stats.
    I have 11600 magic dmg now (same two lunar rings and stuff), with a 500 add I would be over 12k. Cleric buffed and there u go, 13k base magic attk ( I have 12500-12900 magic attk buffed)

    true, with 500 mag point
    (each point 1% eq dmg and u could get oht ring with 3 mattack but rare)
