Hi, in a near future I intend on buying a brand new laptop and I would like to be able to play PWI and be able to TW smoothly (min graphics with max distance is fine for me). So anyway Im wondering what specs I should go for?

I'm using the Gateway 7915u FX edition. It's got pretty good specs and can play PWI on max settings.

I play on a two year old 2 gb ram/2.2 processor 512 mb graphics laptop (256/kbps net) and i dont lag at all on max settings anywhere~Archosaur and TW included. Hell i run fraps at the same time still no lag b:chuckle But weird thing is i know people with a laptop twice s good as mine and with better net . . yet they do lag in some places.

Due to poor programming, this game eats RAM like nothing else. Make sure you have at least 2 GB, if not 4GB for a completely lagless experience.

Make sure its actually got a dedicated GFX card - not an onboard pentium solution or w/e many laptops come with.

When picking a good GFX card never decide its power my the amount of memory it has. 512 MB on a GFX card is meaningless if the card has a **** clockspeed - which is the main important thing you want to look at.

I don't think this is a very proc heavy game - one of my machines has a single core P4 3.06ghz from 2003 and it runs it fine on low/mid settings.

Windows 7 is probably the best OS to run PWI on a laptop.

This website is very good for choosing a laptop: http://www.notebookcheck.net/

My current budget laptop which has core i3 2.9ghz, 4GB RAM, nvidia GT 330M can run on max settings without lag.
