Or you could stealth next to a person that's about to die, and pick up all the drops as soon as they die, with the way it is now.

...Because the situation you specified is so much more plausible than mine, right?

I'm sorry. I don't know what you mean by this. You can't pick up items while in stealth. Were you being sarcastic about this?

The scenario I brought up is incredibly simple to pull off. It's easy and even a less experienced player can pull it off.

If you're in stealth next to a player that's about to die, the person can kill them, then you destealth and grab the drops, the way it is now. Despite the fact that it's easier than the method you mentioned, I don't hear much about it happening. Same way there will be a very small chance that assassins will be stealthing around with full chi, waiting for someone to be almost dead to steal drops.

    What did this thread prove?
    1. some people have no clue what sarcasm is
    2. some will try to derail the thread into a person vs person argument
    3. some will not think about all the consequences and connotations with what they think would be good
    4. some blue names really angered serious pkers

    ...

Coming out of stealth takes some amount of time. About 3 seconds of cast time, not to mention channel time. If I de-stealth too early I run to risk of you killing me as well.

Assassins standing around in stealth with full chi is a very common scenario. I do it all the time and I'm pretty sure a lot of other sins do too. Sins have a skill that does not require an attack to be executed (and thus can be used in stealth) that give them +2 sparks and its cooldown is 1 minute. The mana usage of stealth is negligible.

The fact remains that if they put timers, a lot of things will be wonky.

Lol watch them release a botique item after reading this thread that puts timers on pk drops for the user ('.__.)..
