    this entirely depends on what you want to use the character for.

    BMs are for supporting other characters and stunning enemies and also lowering there defence (HF)

    Barbs are mainly for tanking with there massive amount of health.

    in duels...depends on both character builds.

    both classes are similar...but not identicle. a bm CAN tank if given the right build. but its always a safe bet going for the barb for tanking because they are more adapted to taking arggo off other character...like the wiz, cleric, ect.

    HF doesn't lower mobs defense.

    If we are talking about aggro. It is more safe to use a properly geared fist bm to tank. That way wiz, cleric, etc...will not take aggro at all
