    I have sent links and I have seen ppl "send" links on wc.

    I can imagine if obscene but otherwise....*shrugs*

    This is honestly a rule? Must be so all the parents out there feel safe there children arn't being sent pron. Thats all i can think of, other then that it is uber silly.

    Huh. Well usually this sort of thing is a no-no due to site competition(like posting links to another MMO) or porno pics, dirty pages ect. But I've only ever seen a GM tell someone off for saying something/posting something naughty in WC ONE TIME, ever. In that same ten minutes someone swore someone else out and nothing was said. How quaint. Rules don't apply if no one enforces them I guess, huh? =_=

    So posting the url to your faction's website is bannable, yet some idiot was able to make unspeakable references to pedophelia, incest, bestiality and mutilation the other day for hours on WC. I can only assume he eventually got banned before he got bored or ran out of teles. b:spit

    I don't think anyone will ban somebody linking to faction site, even if there is a rule against it.
    If so, most officers of all faction will be banned.

    There is also a rule that you can't share accounts, but what about faction banks?

    Maybe they should change the rule to: An active playing character b:chuckle

    If guild officers need to advertise their website, they can WC "x Faction, pm for details", then whisper the homepage to anyone interested.

    Did you not read the entire post?

    You quoted the answer b:surrender

    I assume (although think correctly) that unless a GM specifically catches you or someone logs a ticket then the odds of you being banned = small.


    Side Note:

    HOWEVER --> Since when do ppl advertise their faction websites? Should that not be after they talk to you first? O_o
