Lv90 Stuff

Hi everyone, I know there's been a few threads on the subject.

Here's the equip i planned to get for my level 90.

The sockets are wrong since my robe is already 2 sockets and I doubt I'll get a 4 sockets lol. Also I have green Moonshade Cape instead of the Chromacy on the calculator.

As I'm approching that big barrier (I'll be 88 today, so two levels left ! b:victory), I'm wondering several things on it.
- Is that stuff realistic, knowing that I doubt I'll be able to get the gold hat so I might keep my TT80 hat or get a FCC one, and also the gold necklace which is out of what I have so i may get Slaughter's Belt instead to keep the 5% HP bonus.
- The two rings can only be obtained with 50 Gold and Silver dragon coins each. It's like huge for me and I don't even know what consists DQ in. So I'd like to know what ring is good to get instead.

most of it is realistic.
If you have around 10m to spare for a hat id say go for the TT90 gold one. Its amazing. If you dont, TT80 will do fine aswell. I suggest you go for the Sky Demon's Pearl and Demon slaughter belt.. Im not a big fan of Green frost stuff, lol. seeing that u focus on HP, those would be good.

For the rings, two options.. Gold FCC ring (Auspicious ring: Order) if you have money (about 20m each) or some decent OHT rings. but you wont be able to wear those till lvl 94 or 99 if it's 3*

You can get a 3-star cape with better adds.

The DQ mold rings are expensive, yes. The golden FF ones are slightly better while cheaper and broadly avaiable.

Replace your TT90 wrists to the 77 legendary with -6% channel or the golden TT90. They're much better.

The TT80 hat is not bad but if you really want something better go for the Warsoul hat.

Switch your belt to a physical one or elemental with -6% channel.

Yeah, most of that is realistic. Changes I would suggest are:

Most people go for the TT90 gold sleeves for the -6% channel. The two gold mats needed only cost about 1.5 mil each on HT. You'll probably end up paying more for the 8 antennae if you don't farm them yourself. Another alternative is to find or make a set of OHT sleeves. You can make them with a daily quest you'll get at 90, so there are tons of them on AH for very cheap prices.

The necklace of giant strength is good for arcanes, but requires two gold mats which cost about 4-4.5 mil on HT. It's primary advantage is the +91 pdef the Sky Demon's Pearl Jolly suggested is missing. The Sky Demon's Pearl typically only costs 1-1.5 mil, so is a much more cost-effective choice. I would reckon if you bought a Pearl and invested the extra 7-8 mil you're saving into refining it, you'll probably wind up with the same or more pdef on it.

Check AH for hats and rings. There are frequently very good ones available for much lower prices than legendary or mold/lunar rings. -6% channel on rings tends to get expensive though. Personally I think 85 magic attack is a little weak for a ring (the ones my heavy veno uses are about +130). The way the game mechanics work, +1 mag on a ring is only equivalent to about 2.5 mag attack on the ring. So the +6 mag on the rings you've picked only make the ring equivalent to about 100 mag attack total. Course it's your choice whether you want to go with channeling or better m.atk.

Now is a good time to make the tome. With luck tokens at very low prices, you can make the mystical tome pages very cheaply. On HT, a level 3 tome like you've selected would only cost about 9 mil to make. But seeing as you're a vit/mag build, I would have to question if the +9/+8 tome is really worth 6 mil more than a +7/+6 tome. Is ~25 higher overall m.atk and 24 hp really worth 6 mil?

2 sockets on a weapon is pretty rare. For a level 90 weapon, I would probably splurge for the perfect sapphires. On HT they've been going for about 2-2.5 mil lately, compared to 800k-1 mil for the immaculates. Definitely a good buy, especially since a lot of your other stuff costs a lot more. e.g. Changing one of the shards on your weapon to perfect raises your overall m.atk by 36. So for 2.5 mil, it's a much better investment than 6 mil to go from a level 2 to a level 3 tome.

Well, at first thanks to you three for these answers.
I'll check AH to find rings and hat if i dont go for the gold one.
I clearly can't afford the gold FCC rings lol. So does the warsoul hat.
Also, I'm not such interested by -chan items since I'm not tanking any bosses, and -chan is pretty useless unless you farm TT with a herc that i dont have (and that i can't afford). I'm better with high HP and survability.
I think ill stay with my Lv1 tome because, you're right, it's not worth the 3/4m to go for Lv2.
Finally, all that you are telling me Solandri is so expensive $_$ I'm like poor haha.

The Str stat on the Sky Demon's Pearl not only yields better patk, but +30pdef as well. That brings the pdef difference down to 61 which is cheap to compensate for. SDP definitely the value way to go unless you're going to +12 everything.

if u have money to spare,get gold hh90 necklace and gold sleeves.u dont need str.if u gonna +3 ur ornaments u have better pdef with gold necklace and u also get reduce dmg 1%,u dont need str as arcane.yes u have better patk,but arcanes mostly use human form,and fox for debuff,not to go melee on mobs.
and that belt..u also dont need elemental belt as arcane,either get channeling one in ah or just stick with hh80 one cuz u will have more pdef with it.hh80 hat is good too,if ur aiming for pdef.
the gold hat i say no,its a waste of money for not so good stats.giant beast shells was going for 6-7mil b4 2x event not sure for now,and u also need 8 ribbons,so if u not gonna farm all that alone and buy it instead,i suggest u better save up couple of mil more and get champion scroll for much better stats on hat.and restat when u can..u dont need dex so u should use those points into magic or vit.its realistic besides sockets,most of time its 2 sock.but if u got a herc u can get 4sock.too just keep refarming the gear and sell the one with 2sock.
people usually dont want to buy 2sock.one so u may even consider giving it away to guildies but that they cover up subs which u used for crafting.

i dont get it, why do you like to use elemental belt (the one that increase magic defences) instead of pdef belt? if you want more magic defence you can refine rings for that, or it is for 5% more mp (i also see turquoise shards used)? other than that... i got better rings/wrist/boots from oht crafts than TT

I have to agree with you NiKi about the gold hat. So i think i'll go for a championship scroll. These days it must cost around 12m ?

on my server championship scroll is like 25mil in shops but can find cheaper sometimes

Yeah but i dont find any Physical Belt that fits to my build. There's still the Insigna of Ice but I don't know how/where to get it. And also, seeing its stats, it must be crazily expansive.
I saw Championship scrolls are around 17m in sanctuary.

Try the Auction House and I'm sure you'll find something with HP or magic for cheap.

there is a chain of quests like wraith ploy, oht 2nd past and so on that gives you a belt at your choise. the last one, lvl 95 gold belt is pretty nice but you have to do some FB's/TT/GV to kill bosses for quest

dont know about sanc,but in LC scrolls are around 20mil.still it pays off cuz of stats,i had gold hh90 hat b4 that and it was big waste of money,since i spend 15mil for gold mats and alot of subs to get ribbons,boss was dropping 1per run.what kenlee said about the belt,u can get with quest in other maps really good belt.u also have another 2 choices,hh80 belt (stick with that dont farm hh90 one..if u choose that one) since it have +pdef extra,or another really smexy belt which i got b:dirty

it might take a while and camping ah till u get it,but its worth it
u need 7 diff demonol books for it,and u need friend (barb) whos gonna pick up tigers mind quest for u,and give u reward when quest is done.should be someone who u trust since books are like 7-8mil together.some are bit harder to find so ppl sell them up to 2mil and some are like 500-700k.u can farm wines for it,since u need to complete abaddon bosses for it,barb keeps exp,spirit and coins,and just tell him when its done to pick belt as reward and give it to u,since theres choice between 3 rewards.
