Cage help

Hi, I know I'll be hated for posting something like this, though I couldn't find it after scrolling back 10 pages in this forum.

I bought a Cage from the Boutique, the simple one for 2 Gold because I've heard about how hard collecting everything can be from Hay to Fungus. Now, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to use it! I know you have to do something with the quest that the Pet Masters give you, but all they say now is that they want the components to get the Herc and Nix. I have to be doing something wrong. Please help the noob!

    aww, you won't be hated for asking questions! lol
    You should be able to go to a pet skill trainer for the quest, if I remember correctly, and not a pet manager.

    really, it is worth the cash to buy the full cage/pet bag from the cash shop, than to go through the hassle of trying to find/save up all the stuff it takes to get each cage from the pet master. that way, you have an array of pets, with their different skills, with you, ready to help with your quests. there arent many things that are as worth the money as this is, but this is truly a big help to have.

    You don't have to collect them. With a cage costing 2 gold and gold at 400k, simply buying the mats off of the auction house is probably cheaper than buying a cage.

    800k for 20 hay is 40k per hay. If you can buy hay cheaper than that, you're better off using the hay quest for the first extra slot.

    800k for 50 fruit is 16k per fruit. If you can buy fruit cheaper than that, you're better off using the fruit quest for the second extra slot.

    800k for 100 fungus is 8k per fungus. If you can buy fungus cheaper than that, you're better off using the fungus quest for the 3rd extra slot.
