Hey,

it's been a few days since I hit 80, and somehow it feels like game over. BH squads for the 69 are hard to find (ppl seem to be too cheap for split wine costs) on Raging Tide, atleast during Euro times. But being persistant, I manage to do it somehow. But ... fun is something else.

I'd like to know what other interesting stuff opened up with getting to 80, for a Veno without Herc. Like ... what about RB or FC? Never been in there. Anything else except for TT (I've run that so often I can't see it anymore w/o nervous breakdown)?

Guess I'm in the middle of some sort of virtual midlife-crisis ;)

RB - you're still eligible for Gamma until 85.

FC - you're more likely to get in there at 80 than before, but most squads seem to want a herc veno.

frostland is doable with your level but there must be at least 1 squad member lvl 85 or higher to start quests in there.

rebirth is something else. it's not all about level. need skilled players with hp charm and good items. there are good guides in this forum already but you should expect lots of failures before completing it. i could call it expensive fun^^

I'm very much in the same boat - wish I'd stayed 79. Sixty nine is a pain, since you really can't tank it with anything other than a tiger+cleric. (or a stupidly high level BM)

So yes - TT is your real home, if you can find squads to let you into that. Which you can't.

You might also like to see if you can get people to open lunar for you. Or go hunting in eden (though... maybe a few more levels needed there)

It might not if this person doesn't have herc that would be good goal to set out to work on.I can't see a herc Veno not being wanted in sqds or FCC.

Also fully possible to tank with heavy armor Venos(Pole too, but only done him with 2 clerics).

At 80+ Find a goal, stick to it and get there. After I hit 80, I started gathering coins for every thing I wanted. Account stash, Nix, Better gear for later levels, and doing TT, FC and just quests. The road might be a bit boring now, but when you reach your goals: Worth it b:pleased

You dont have a herc and really want one? Then start. It gives you something to do the next month while trying to get to 85. A piece of equipment you really really want? Get your coins together and save up for it! b:mischievous
No I dont have a herc, I AM the herc! b:mischievous

Well I'm sitting at 250 SoF from the 2x event in February (?) and 2,5kk coins after I got my TT-80 sword, so Herc is more of a very distant goal. I've never been good at merchanting, and I don't like to play Perfect World Tycoon. Also, I don't cash shop at all :/

I guess I'll try to do all my quests next and see where that gets me.

    Gamma is amazing...
For us veno's its rather cheap.. No charms needed, no herc needed (A decent tanking pet will be fine) and our job aint that hard. theres a rather good tutorial vid on youtube, let me find it for u

    ...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdbgwpbxZTE

Basically what you do as veno, is when you enter the valley (and got the quest for extra beans if ur in a rainbow squad (sqaud with all class)) you run into the teleport where u will be teleported to happy valley. Here you will run to the 3rth room and wait till the mobs and the chests spawn. Then just start digging and send your pet into one of the mobs at one time... idk if you can do it that way since I had a herc when I did gamma.. but u'll figure out a way :P. Clear the 3rd, 2nd and 1st room.. give the beans to the BM and join the rest on the battlefield and just DD.. easy and fun :P Might take a while to get a squad, but maybe you can get a group together with who you can always go...

it does slow down, but you find ways to keep busy. Find a good guild, help others do q's, work on apoth skills/tailor, and as others have said, start saving for the gears/weap that you might want. I only have a few hours to play in the evenings after work and find that there just isnt enough time to do all that i want. b:chuckle

Join a TW faction, and go into TWs. That's the real fun.

Also, like others said, TT, FC and Gamma. It becomes fun again ~93 where you can go to warsong and delta, etc. Hang in here b:pleased

Awesome tips here, thanks alot (especially for the gamma introduction). :)
TW's.. can't do that. I'm in a German guild and I won't leave my friends, who, atleast some of them, don't speak English very well.
Also,TW times are at 2am forme :/ But I'm keeping myself informed, it's great stuff, and who knows.. maybe one day.. :)
