Question about Fist BM

So my fist BM is lvl 16, and i was just wondering about my stats. Should i add a more into my str and just enough dex for weapons, or should i distribute the points more evenly between dex and str ex. "odd lvls 2 str, 2 dex, 1 vit and even lvls 2 or 3 str and dex 2 or 3"

    strength points increase both your damage and physical resistance. the most important attribute for sure.

    I did (every 2lvls) 1vit 4dex 5str in the beginning. Now that I've hit 35vit, I'm going for 3str 2dex each level, gives nice results so far.
