In Second Life, if somebody tries something against the ToS but it's only a minor infraction, instead of deleting their account and banning them from game, Linden Labs puts their character in "The Farm" which is just endless rows of corn, a very slow tractor, and a small television set showing a looping movie about a boy who broke the rules. They can't leave until Linden Labs says so, and it's supposed to be very boring and get the message across.

Perfect World should have an area like that. Maybe an empty room with a mount only rideable in that area and that is specially made to go very, very slowly.
"Don't misbehave, or we'll send you to the Room!"
It's basically a time-out for grown-ups. Also slightly funny.

    How about they just give the law breakers a nice spanking? It works in Singapore, they have the lowest rate of petty crimes in the world.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    This seems a bit different...I'm not sure about Second Life but it seems like it would be "You have to stay here for 10 hours" and it would only count online time or something.

    Sadly, this would only work if they started punishing misdemeanors.
