Name change coupon

So what im suggesting is a name change coupon that you can buy from the boutique (like for 10-15 gold). The persons name could be changed after a maintenance or instant. Maybe an announce in world chat like : (old name) has changed his name to (new name).

I think it's a good idea, but people will be confused.
And the gold prize (10-15 gold) is too low, I guess. People will change their names again and again, and it'll be annoying.

i support it, but it should be much more expensive, like 50 golds, or better the item should be usable just ONCE per character.

otherwise ppl could start renaming endlessly and everything will get a bit annoying

The price should be expensive and there should be a limitation to how often it can be used.

Otherwise, even with a System Announcement, it could be abused by changing the name multiple times, resulting in scammers escaping or jerks being forgotten.

Some people would want to change their ingame name due to being harassed by other players and if you're sick of it, you wouldn't want ppl to know your new identity because then it would be just pointless.

But it's a great idea, my previous mmorpg i played had it too....and it was like....i think 54 'gold'

OK so it should be like 50 gold and a 3-4 month cool down (6 months is too long). Sounds good to me.

Anything what could be reasonable and mean profit for PWE is good, so a Boutique item to change the name is quite nice. And I agree about 50g (maybe a little bit less), but one character should only be allowed to change the name once (otherwise it would confuse too much and could be abused).

Even the best of aerogear cost 40 gold. This game is meant to be playable free, thus it should be in a reasonable price range to be able to change name as well. If a coin player wants to change name, well, too bad... MOST coin players (That ain't lvl 100, or some other seriously high lvl) never see such sums on their hands.

Make it 10 gold (max) and 6 month cooldown. It would have to be meant as a service, not a luxury status symbol and because it is meant to be a service, it should have an insane cooldown to it. You should be careful when you choose a name. Maybe make it free and 1 year cooldown?

To sum up: 50 gold is fricking too much for majority of coin players, be reasonable.

You are right, i retire my suggestion.

10 golds but ONLY ONE USE per character should be fine. I dont like cooldowns, name should be just one, if u do a mistake with first name, then u can have another chance, but giving more than 1 more chance will just make it a new way to show how craphead ppl is.

for example, i change my name into &$)(JDSJVNAK so im un-whisperable, un-invitable and annoying in chats for 6 months, cause i think im funny but im just stupid, and after those 6 months i turn back my old name.

Having your main character un-whisperable, or uninvitable for 6+ months should be quite a huge disadvantage in this game. Even if it's just an alt it's still quite a bummer, if you want to use that character as a bank.

*Goes to postbox to send x item to bank with **** name* What was the name again? *checks the name and comes back* ****! I still can't remember the name! *sends the item to wrong character*

But yeah, having such limit as only 1 name change would be another option to prevent misuse.

I'd go for this... I want to change the name of Yulk to Maximus or something else b:surrender
