Yes I know that both classes are different, but I like playing both.. And I can't really decide on which char should I focus more.. So my question is, when can sin start with grinding, and how good assassin class is for soloing? Thanks b:kiss

1-20 is a breeze but that is because they are tideborn, and the tideborn quests=easy fast lvls. 20-34 chalenging you don't yet have bloodpaint. Get a Bow you have as much Dex as an Archer. This will be your best friend for Melee mobs. After that it gets a little easier but I would put Sin about Wizard dificulty to lvl. Although I have only gone to lvl 70 so far.

I think they have Incredible Potential at 90-100+ though when you can get a bunch of -interval gear, stealth to a boss and possibly solo with pots, bloodpaint and Ribstrike. It won't be cheap but not having to kill the mobs will make for Very fast efficent runs.

Thanks for reply.. Yes, 1-20 was pretty easy. Sin is level 23 atm with mold daggers, and I will get me a bow.. Is -interval gear attainable without cash shopping...? Basically, I was interested in their solo potential, as I usually played sin-like classes in other games.. Leveling wiz was not easy, but i like challenges.. b:chuckle

Biggest thing to remember as a low lvl sin, you'll be burning a LOT of life powder.

you can get 90 gold wrists without cash shopping. most items will be a bit difficult without though. you could farm a lot and buy them from those that do CS though.

sins are great soloers as seen here. keep in mind killermate didnt have 3 spark and beat the boss. also judging by his attack speed it doesnt look like he has any interval at all.

as lv 90 hav 5.8k hp, so soloing is easy once u hav demon spark, i can solo jewels, styg, and prob any boss in instances 19,29,51, maybe most from 59 and some from 69, and one from 79, all u need is demon spark, powerdash, bloodpaint, wolfemblem, extreme poison, charm, and maybe some crab meat or pots, but yeah sins can solo, cause they hit so fast and hard, that they get a lot of hp back, and they can spam demon spark.

And, on top of it all, you have Deaden Nerves (prevents you from dying once) and Focused Mind (reduces damage to 1 on some attacks)

Well, there has to be some class that can challenge an endgame wizzie with good chance of winning...other classes usually have to get lucky to kill a wiz, we can stun the heck outta them and then barely get hit for anything...and if a wiz does hit us hard, we comez right back to life and silence them...BWAHAHAHA!!!

You'll rarely use HP pots after 59. When I did the 60 elite mobs (each took a full demon spark to take out) for the dragon orb quest by Dreamweaver, I only used like 5 MP pots total. That quest was actually fun, having 2-3 mobs on me and having to constantly demon spark for the larger heal from bloodpaint. Regular quest mobs are... quite boring and easy.

Those mobs were fun. I just dragged a cleric slave with me and opened Dragons Breath on theyr main path.

    LOL b:laugh

But still....U are underestimating endgame wizzies( the ones with nirvana+10 )

Some ppl fel moar fear from an endgame wiz than they do from Harpy b:sin

But yeah....Sins are the most annoying class to deal with........(we have to kill them twiceb:sad )

some awesome replies here, thanks :) got me a bow and stacked life powder.. helps a lot.

As I said, I'm not really interested in CSing... I would rather go slow way.. Grind/solo thingss/merch and try to build up my char (not really interested in pvp much at this point), and that's reason why I opened this thread and asked for opinion b:cute

1 other thing I found out as a lvl 40 sin.

You get aLOT of skils at your low lvls, and you have to sellect verry heavely what to ignore and what to less ignore (as you have even less spirit than a low lvl wizzy)
For this reason I am actually stoping my lvling now, feeding all exp I get out of BH to my genie to get enough spirit for my basic skils (and stealth, stealth is nice)

    This.

However, just as a note, the only skills you need to level and keep maxed at all times are Rib Strike and Dagger Devotion. After that, all other skills are just icing on the cake.

Didn't get the rest of it, but apparently I am the "destroyer of sin haters" as well.

as a sin on a pvp server, i rather have my stealths up to my level and my buffs following close(im an auto attacker so i dont use skills much)
Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

Hell, the only skils I have are ribstrike (about 1 lvl behind), tackling slash (if I'm spamming it for chi, might as well get good dmg out of it), shadow walk and catlike thread. I want to be sure I can escape from a mob gank, and I'm thinking of getting my sin ready for PvP

Did basically same thing on my cleric. I was sure that buffs/group buffs/res/bb and attacks were maxed. I will probably feed genie with exp on this char as well. Dagger devotion and rib strike seem kinda obvious.. Puncutre, deep wound and slipstream (not sure how much is this one expensive mana-wise if maxed) all seem handy. I kinda skipped twin strike as its not necessary yet..
