I just bought the box, used the items and got to lvl 6, 80/80, the elder sent me to visit a tailor (quest) and the tailor gave me to manufacture 3 items of 2 stars to lvl to 7 and use the item from the tailor training box to lvl it
So i have to manufacture/buy the armor items even with the 30 gold tailor training ? :O

Tailoring lvl 6:


First Quest:

1 ☆☆ Serendipitous Cuisses
1 ☆☆ Mail of Antiquity
1 ☆☆ Genesis Boots
Second Quest:

1 ☆☆ Hermit's Cape
1 ☆☆ Cloudcrash

    The tailor skill box thing is supposed to give you the skill book that allows you to bypass the quest. At least, that's what I've heard.
