Roar

Just asking, isn't it that roar does not increase agro, it just adds a certain level of agro depending on skill lvl?
So it works at beginnig of fight to get a nice agro start, but it will not stack with fleash realm, devour etc ?
If so it would reset agro?
Feel free to PM me for help.

"Roar is AoE 'taunt' which reset aggro and draw it on you - but isnt good in holding it for longer time."

Yeah all barbs should have roar, but it's more of a backup aggro skill IMO.

Can anyone confirm from the guide linked above, that Alpha Male are Roar reset aggro, instead of just add?

Yes, it resets agro and then pulls it on to you. In the case of Roar, the higher level the skill is, the greater amount of agro is generated after the reset. Roar is best used in things like FF runs where the mobs dont live very long. You just need to roar initially to make sure the cleric using BB doesnt get killed due to healing agro.

Roar also works great when someone accidentally pulls a bunch of mobs in an instance. Getting off a quick roar has saved party wipes for me more than once.

I wouldn't say that would be a good idea unless in an absolute wtf happened situation.

For instance, during one of my bh51s way back when I was in my mid 60s a bm intentionally attempted to wipe us(either that or something bad happened)and he pulled about 12 mobs in on us before dying. I roared, beastial raged, turtled, and told squad to run... I was the only one to die.

However in situations where aggro is overpulled by 1 or 2 mobs I normally have enough buffer to keep aggro from everybody and live.
