Why do all the characters look the same

Hi, I tried to search for the answer however came up blank though I am sure someone has asked this. When I first played I saw the character of everyone as they had made them, now all the human blokes r the same, the human women are the same etc I only see myself as I made me and the little circle up top middle of screen of another person is shown as they made themselves.... how come or have I got something missing or... what? Please I would love to know why or how this changed and more importantly, can I have it back!

    Go into your system settings, then under UI check the 'Customizations' box. After that you should see everyone looking like themselves again.

    I tend to go into 'high performance' mode quite a bit - especially in Arch - and whenever using that it automatically unchecks that box and find I have to go in there to check it whenever I go out of high performance mode. I wish it would automatically re-check.

    OH MY GOODNESS THAT EASY lol and here I thought I was a bit of a "computer boffin" but missed something so easy :) thankyou this has been really really annoying me and detracting from full enjoyment! and it works ty ty ty!!!!
