I think I just had an epiphany.....

Imagine that within the whole map, there's half a dozen territories that no-one is allowed to own permanently.

Once a week, per territory, the computer then randomly picks 2 factions with approximately the same number of players in each faction and those faction are required to fight at a set time and place within that territory. The winner then gets some coin or something.....

That way the big factions can still sit back and laugh at us lowbies but everyone gets thrust into a TW every now and then.

I think it would be chaotic but great fun and no one would care who won, because most of us will never get near a TW otherwise anyway........

    TW =/= Forced guild wars. Some form of out-of-TW faction vs faction would be nice, but they wouldn't implement it like this.

    Plus there's factions that have 100 members, but only 20 or so actives... Or 20 actives with 80 alts.
    Faction v. Faction or Squad v. Squad dueling would be nice... Perhaps bring back the Tournaments?

    Forced territory wars would not work on any basis, and would get a lot of complains.

    There are a huge number of factions spanning across the servers that do not want anything to do with TW, so the first thing that would have to be done for your system is to somehow filter these guilds out. Not going to happen without a hiccup or two, and that hiccup may very well cause a great deal of complaints.

    There's also the fact that some weekends, not even all the factions that do TW actively take part in TW. I've seen factions sit a week or two out and watch the map before they get the ball rolling again.

    Honestly, it would be interesting, but there would be so much wrong with forced TW in this game that it just wouldn't happen.

    There is already a game with automated tournaments and guilds aren't forced to do them.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    Wraiths should randomly take back control of territories. Announce the attacks and the defending faction should have to go into the instance and kill a certain number of mobs within a time limit. If the faction isn't there to defend, the Wraiths win and control the territory.

    That's a pretty neat new twist to TW, except maybe they should make the time of the invasions happens only during weekend hours, that seems to be a bit more fair as more are online during those hours. After all, you don't get warnings and scheduled attacks from your enemies in real life war.

    I think that the idea of the Arena being implented would be the best situation for all. Then, it is only by choice, and not an entire faction has to be involved. Plus, it gives those factions preparing for TW a chance to get used to doing PvP, even on PvE servers...PLEASE guys...implement the Arena!! Give everyone the advantage of experience!! (without getting ganked by high levels!)

    ^^ this minus the announcement thingy.. announcement will only appear on the faction chat on which the wraith's will be attacking.. and it should only be announced about 5mins. before war starts..

    one thing i wanna see in TWs is an "infantry scroll" b:laugh where u can use a no. of human/elves/untamed/tideborn soldiers (about 3-5 maybe) to assist u in war.. each soldiers have decent amount of def, atk and hp.. the catch is each type of soldier have set of 2 skills that varies according to their race (e.g. elves troop can give a boost healing effect or boost in evasion and accuracy or flight speed).. b:chuckle

    For those that never twed AT ALL. a level 3 land can be EASILY taken down with a single squad of level 1xx within the 3 hour time frame... so its really pointless to have this sort of things. even with a 5 min warning at random times... any ruling guild shouldn't have any trouble to throw together a squad or 2 to defend.... especially there might be nice drops involved.

    only attack on level 2 or 3 land will be of any hinderence. and even if those land are lost back to the wraiths... no random guild can even attack it due to the bidding rules.

    3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.
