Game wont start

I'v looked through most of the threads so i wouldn't have to bug anyone about this, but i couldn't find any that were like my problem, and or they weren't answered. But i can't get my game to start, iv had this game for about 3 weeks now. But when i pull up the main screen with the big orange button that says start, and click it. it just says game is already running, close nd try again. I'v tried several times, but it still says the same thing. Anyone have a suggestion or two?
