^ build, All armor req is minimum of level 90, has 5903 Hp and deals 5395-8150 damage. 22% crit

Or...

http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=418a63e0af4d799d

^build, Armor req level 85, Pendant, Necklace, Weapon req level 90. Has 5534 Hp and deals 5771-8719 damage. 25% crit

I am being reasonable with the sharding and refining... as reasonable as my bank can get...

Problem is, should I go for the +400 more hp build and sacrifice 3% crit and +400 damage, or go for the second build?
(400 HP only last me .. maybe 2/3 of a hit from mobs around my level?)

I understand at some point in the game, archers have to have at least 6k HP for anything after FC but... b:chuckle... don't think I'll get up there soon.

Am currently Pure Dex, and will remain pure dex but... am wondering if these two armor sets are decent or not (lvl 85 minimum).
(If they suck like sour warhead faces, some suggestions are more than welcomed ^_^)

b:chuckle Am also looking for weapon suggestion after level 85. Currently using Wind and Clouds Slingshot. I like the DragonBow better from the stats, but eehh...
★Broad Land (2) +5
Bow
Grade Rank 12
Attack Frequency(Times/second) 0.67
Physical Attack 944-1592
Level Requirement: 85
Strength Requirement: 47
Agility Requirement: 257
Maximum in Physical Attack +139
Dexterity +15
Unrelenting: Has a chance to greatly increase physical attack at the cost of reducing physical defence.
Immaculate Garnet Shard Physical Attack +32
Immaculate Garnet Shard Physical Attack +32
That could work too... but meh.. I'm a tad bit wary of the "reducing physical defense" thing.... Working with the 2nd set it gives me 6050-9709 damage.

b:byeMany thanks!

Ok my archer is only level 63, so I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to being an archer, and while I suppose it is completely situational I think overall the more damage and crit rate build is better.

Because in pve your normally not expected to tank(and when you are you need to be able to hold aggro without any aggro skills)and in pvp the idea of the archer is kite or kill enemy asap.

Shining Snow set is no longer obtainable. FC Green armor (Decaying Snow) is still nice, but not quite as nice.

You're comparing one with Demon Bow Mastery with one with just level 10. That accounts for most of the damage difference.

Vast Land (level 85 FC Green) has superior damage to Dragonbow at +5, and is quite inexpensive to acquire. Broad Land is superior to both Vast Land and Dragonbow, but is significantly more expensive at 20m+ compared to under 2m for the others.

The level 87 Armor of Millenary Bless (mold chest armor) is an excellent low-cost alternative chest piece. Less HP than TT90, but more PDef.

You don't need nearly that much HP for FC as an archer. I regularly run FC uncharmed, with a little under 4k HP unbuffed. I do have to use Tree of Protection to survive being bubble-of-doomed by Diabolic Shocktrooper though, and have died on the big pull a few times when either the BM neglects to stun or the barb forgets to roar.

    Here's my current setup: http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=e0e29d8a3e6cfed4
For PvP and FC purposes I use a Vast Land, +3 w/ 1 G7 garnet. Does slightly less DPS than my Wind and Clouds, but only because I haven't bothered refining it further. Note that I've got -0.15 worth of interval on my armor and that the Wind and Clouds is +6. With a lower refine or less interval gear, the Vast Land is better.

Not removed completely, just impossible to obtain the materials for it since the FC revamp. I suppose in theory someone may still have it, or the materials, but that's unlikely.

Also, I don't think that cape or belt are obtainable either.

    Do you plan on pvp?
Cause the -def proc on that Broad Land will get you killed in a hurry =/
    On indefinite hiatus :3
