you have to feed them, but they do stay as long as you want them to. (they cap at level 11 by the way)I'm a guy, not a woman, that is all

There are only three things that "die" in PW:
- Players
- Monsters/bosses
- Pets
Nothing else dies. Mounts can never die or expire, much like fashion can't [with the exception of limited edition event fashion, such as the first time the free pirate fashion came out.][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
kay good!
I just wanted to make he wasn't gonna die on me
Thank you.0 -
a good guide for ya:
if you pay for it (coin or gold (aka $$) there are exceptions) it's not gonna die or go away. if it's free you can bet it'll go away at some point temporary or perminantly. (players die, BATTLE pets die, promotional fashion expires)I'm a guy, not a woman, that is all

oh yeah what do you mean they cap at lvl 11?0
-
As you ride your mount, it slowly gains experience and levels - each level gained causes its running speed to be slightly higher. The highest level a mount can reach is level 11. Don't even have to move - you can just sit still in a town somewhere.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thanks for the sig Ophida0 -

Actually, all experience gains on a mount will stop once it reaches level 11. The instant it hits that level it gains no more EXP - you can tell because the little pink bar at the bottom ceases to go in up and will remain forever free of EXP.
There is no glitch.
The mounts just have a max level of 11, which is a max speed increase of 1.0m/s and after this, they gain nothing more.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
okay Im gonna add to this by asking another question thats been bugging me...
I have a lvl 11 Silvermane, if I use spurs of alacrity will that increase its speed to 10mps even tho the descrip says itll increase from 8->9?
and then if I wanted to use galewind spurs AFTER that, would that then increase the mount to 11mps? or not work at all?
I hope I got that down right... cuz I have feeling whats in the description goes and so the max the silvermane will ever go is 10mps...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

You have to feed mounts so they will gain the loyalty bar. The more loyalty it has, the less chance for you to be kicked off the mount wen ur riding and got hit by mobs.[SIGPIC]http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll268/Vi3tSoul93/MKSiggieBlue.png[/SIGPIC]

Using the first spurs (alacrity) will increase the mount's BASE speed to 9m/s.. The thing that the description doesn't mention, is it also reset's the mount's level to 1... so riding it around and getting it to level 11 would make it's speed 10m/s...
Galewind works the same, increasing it's BASE speed to 10m/s, at level 1.... So yes, Silvermane can be maxed at 11m/s.Don't mind me, I'm just here for the free food!
