my faction and I were thinking about killing the World Boss Sonic Oppressor. I know he is a short range melee, but i'm wondering what other special skills he has? does he have any special AoE or something? anything that my faction should be aware of before we attempt to kill it? Any information would be helpful.

    Not a lot of people know much about him I suppose..All I know is he is hard. Thats why he is constantly up/..No one kills him..

    other than him having magic and melee, does he have any AoE like mana burn or AoE stun? anything that would hurt the rest of the faction in any way?

    also, we havent specified a time, just gathering information at the moment

    Well..I guess one way to figure out would to get the most HP'd barb in your faction and some high level cleric..

    We killed sonic with squad of 5 or 6 people i forgot, all he did was some random aggro that will probably 1 shot you unless you have a lot of hp. Other than that, he would random aggro, then head back to whoever is tanking it. Doing it with a lot of people would probably cause sonic to be more troublesome than he actually is, since I think he has an aoe that will wipe a lot of people.

    our faction killed him - good we had clerics.. this boss has random agro that 1 hits everyone.. deals me 11k dmg, to others up to 40k.. not easy to kill him but possible :) just need for DDs to stay away from clerics so clerics are not whiped out

    Just to answer the new question, all world boss's respawn on a 24hr time from when they were last killed.
