Scorp skills

Ok I have a level 81 Varicose scorpion, it has bash, flesh ream, and claw. I am looking at putting another buff skill on it, but i want opinions from people who may have a scorpion similar to mine. Any thing will help.

Also I want to use my scorp to tank some boss's(obviously not all boss's), but I have heard that some venos tank with scorps sometimes.

    I put Howl on mine. It's not always useful, but when it is it rocks.

    ty if i do that I'll probably look for it in AH, i don't want to spend the 1.5mil to get it to lvl 5

    *raises eyebrow* whether you buy it out of the auction or not, lvln the skill costs the same.

    Leveling the skill to 5 is 800k. The other half of that 1.5mil is the zoologist price for the howl scroll. b:chuckle I once found one for 100k, and it's only recently that I teached it to my DD pet.

    You could go grind up enough to buy it while the 2x drops & coin is going on. On HT, I've gotten over 2 million in just the last few days (spent most of it on pet skills), being lvl 38-40, and doing it at a rather leisurely pace, with most items (including mats) going straight to NPCs (very little going on there that is specific to the HT economy). At 80+, I can't imagine it would take that long to get the coin, even if a cheaper one does not pop up soon at the AH.

    Come to think of it, I think I got my skills switched on the wrong DD pets. My Dark Wanderer has Toxic Mist while my Scorpion has Howl. Why should they be switched? Because Scorpion has a lower atk rate while skills are constant regardless of pet. b:sad

    So how does the scorpion have higher attack than the dark wanderer if the wanderer has a higher attack rate?
