Level and drop rate

Hi. How does character level affect drop rate? I know that if you are of a higher level than the mobs they will drop fewer items. However, if I kill mobs that are higher level than me does the drop rate increase or decrease?

    Higher level mob than you gives you bigger chance to drop anything.
    There is interval I think +-2-3 levels, where probability of drop from mob is the same. So If you are level 85 the mobs lv. 83 and 87 has same probability to drop item.

    Well.. I have seen very rare drops and tons of goodies drop almost every 5 lvls or so on my character..

    Well especially when i go swimming or set a catshop up i seem to lose a lot of goodies..
    Dunno how or why?
