Hi all,

I want to ask about how to handle the "features" of monster such as :

- Increased life
- increased magic resistance

Especially magic resist, it's completely ridicilous because we can only deal around 1/4 damage.

thanks

    depends on ur lvl

once you get ur ults then you can use BT

for now either squad with a melee class or ignore them

    Personally:

Increased Life mobs I make sure to keep undine and extreme poison on them. Also casting FoW is extremely useful.

Increase Mag Res... well I usually just avoid those. For the amount of time you spend attacking it and the amount of EXP you gain it's just not worth it.

Increased Life- Aren't too bad, just a bit longer to kill, at higher levels you have undine strike, sparks an sutra for more damage. An Force of Will, and Will of Pheonix to keep them away from you. An kite with skills like gush for slowing effect, Distance Shrink etc...

Magic Resistant- These...well yeah...you should just avoid unless in a squad...
    OR...
You just get really pissed off with them and want start a bloody, long drawn out fight, which if not careful will kill you...aka-(a challange)b:laugh
Yes you have BT, but what, you manage to get it down to half its health in one hit, theres still the other half of very annoying Resistance to breakthrough...
But again, if you are gonna fight, make sure you keep them away from you with Force Of Will, an your Pheonix which has a reletively nice cooldown.

triple spark undine strike on inc mag resist = same damage as regular spells on reg mobs

inc life mobs are a joke....
Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

Just use genie spark debuff on mag res mob. If u have undine as well stack both debuffs then pop off fire skills. Divie pyro, pyro, phoenix, mob will die fast.

Normal mobs die in 3-4 hits, if they're increased life I use Force of will and kill them in 6-7 hits. Increased magic res = undine strike + spark and then pyrogram/phoenix, twoshots most of them, if not follow up with 1-2 skills.
Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

Should assume this guy is a lowbie and shouldn't be able to use any 79 skill or 59 skill.

Best way to deal with those mobs is to quest/grind with other people. Otherwise try to avoid the increased magic defense; up to you if you want to take on the increased life ones.

    Weak givens = 1/2x EXP
    Sacrificial Assault = 3/2x EXP
    All others = 2x EXP

I personally use inc mag res to make sure I can still kite fluidly. Helps when you take long **** breaks, but for quick kills.

    Undine strike 79 skill
    Spark Genie skill
Eruption Fist Genie starter skill (DEX genie)
    Extreme poison Genie skill
    Blade Tempest 59 skill

    Restatting to axes L337 $kILl'$

I think we should assume that the OP is less than level 29, because honestly the method to deal with these mobs is just too obvious for higher level.
Increase Life: do like normal mobs twice, with gush in between the 2 combo for some distance.
Increase Magic Resistance: Gush, Pyro (or whatever the mobs is weak to), Gush, ...
