Yesterday while doing the BH's i was told by the barb to not bloodpaint him cuase it made tanking that much harder. I have a barb and i would love bloodpaint on him constantly but he said it made it harder to tank. I have no idea why he said that. As far as i know it doesn't do anything but add a little HP back from every hit.

    Your barb simply wanted an excuse to cover his butt in case he lost aggro. Bloodpaint has zero effect on aggro holding, but is very nice for getting back some HP... which makes tanking easier because that little bit of HP regained makes it that much harder for a monster to kill you.

    yea, bloodpaint makes tanking a piece of cake xD i really like it xD i might even go train an assassin on my secondairy account just so i can buff my barb xD

    Tanking isn't that hard to begin with...it's just expensive on the repairs. As a barb you go up, aggro the boss, the boss hits you, you cancel aoe's/magic attacks, and let the boss continue to hit you. Then the boss dies and everyone is happy.

    Seriously, I love a Veno's Bramble and a Sin's Bloodpaint. Anything that will make my tanking go smoother is welcome. I even like the Wizzie's water attack buff.

    couldn't agree more...

    as for a barb saying bloodpaint makes it harder? That same barb probably scared to use his titan buff since it makes it harder to do damage.... b:chuckle
