Let me get this straight...
1. The OP is complaining about one of the most overpowered genie skills ingame?
2. Barbs dieing just for a few seconds without heals because cleric is expelled??? WTH? if cleric is unable to act, there is such thing as turtle sheesh.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

yea, but apparently it has 1 second cooldown so that u can use it to immobilize all clerics around0

...it's seal (silence), not immobilize.
Also, it use 125 energy, 1s cooldown doesn't equal instant recharge.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
yea or smth like that, but its enough to destroy a wb hunting. it should be only usable within squad members0

Doesn't need changed, get the heck over it. Given the fact that there are genie skills that block my metal attacks entirely, this is a much beneficial skill for me.

Except its an exploit. Being able to PK Blue names is an exploit as stated by devs (cirvumventing intended game mechanics). And using mobs to kill players so they lose Exp is both greifing & exploiting (as any PK mechanics are not supposed to make other lose Exp). So yes, it does need to be changed. Or full time GM policed so its not being used as not intended (fat chance of that happening).0 -
1: HT sounds like a fcked up server. Nothing like this (as far as I know) happens on Sanctuary. And heres hoping some idiots don't start messing with peoples WB's and grinding.
2: This skill is VERY beneficial to me in pk. Depending on how my blessing filter is, I can be immune from barbs/bms/sins/archers. Or given a 1v1 vs any of the above (archers being the least easy to use it against) I can expel them and have my way.
3: Being stunned/frozen/slept = inability to move. If there was a skill you could use to blue names (like exel) that did any of that, there;d be a real problem. Expeal seals the target. Target can still run.
Veno's pet is tanking a few mobs, veno realises s/he can't heal.. does stupid veno stick around? You'd hope they'd get the idea.
Same goes with anyone grinding pve, you have charms/pots/apoths you can use when you start to take damage, what difference is there with using them in general or when you're expelled?
I haven't done a heap of look into it, but everything has a counter in this game. Theres anti phys damage skills, anti ele damage skills, specific anti ele damage (soul of fire, nulify poison etc) skills, theres stun/sleep/seal break skills,, everything in the game has it's counters. Getting seal'd a lot by a wizzie or someone with expel? Get a skill (If it exists) to counter it. Or something situational (BM getting seal'd by a Cleric? expecting tempest? USE HEART OF STEEL!
Ok, sorry. My rant on this has been very PVP biased.
People need to be smart and stop QQing.

Griefing like that does happen on sanctuary and I've seen it become more and more frequent. I'm not going into specific examples since I don't want to give people ideas.
Expel certainly has its offensive uses in PK which is ok in principle IMO but the fact you can seal blue names totally circumvents PVP protections.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

idk if this skill would work im just looking at genie skills and trying to think of somthing that would help. depending on how much dmg u can take and if they already used telly stune

i think this and holy path may help if you use a pot to stop stuns after this skill. i would guess this would be good for a barb or bm not so much arcane. im not sure if this stops freezes tho but as long as you look on your buffs u can see if its a freeze or not.... try to pick skill that need the same type of stats like most of the ones i showed need dex to become better. also for a good move may help not stun but stops them from atting seal it also uses dex to become better

now this skill i dont see being that good on its own if your alone. the only reson is bc most sins after enough pvp will know this and wiat also if they check your genie they may start with a skill that dosnt us much chi. also the cool down is 1 sec so this may be a ok skill to us im realy not sure.

i think with the right timing these skills my help there were alot more but i dont feel like posting them all. just read all the genie skills and im sure you can find a good combo. i would think timing out your own stun after using a skill like faith or badge would probly work as a suprise to them and give you time to holy path away. if they have a genie stun then maby you will have to think of somthing but im guessing you would use stune pot after those skills. i never used these skills so i have no idea if it would work... try to use skills that work with each other like most the ones i showed need dex to become better. also another good one is seal dosnt stun but stops atts also uses dex to become better.0 -

But to say Expel is unfair because it grants physical immunity, I would have to say no because it allows you to do many things in that 3-8 secs of time they cannot use any skills.0 -
I miss the days where you could expel your opponent and **** them up. Now expel does not work on opponents, unless they are stupid and forget to put their protections on.0
