Between 12am and 3am Sunday 21st of March 2010 the north-east coast of Australia (aka. Tropical North Queensland) was pounded down by category 3 Cyclone Ului. I live in Tropical North Queensland...

My house had a piece of tin from someone else's roof spear through the garage and luckily JUST missed our car. We also had two very large trees fall over in our yard and completely missed all the houses around them. We were so lucky. No fatalities that I know of due to cyclone Ului. Plenty of injuries though.

We have only just got the power back on but still have to drink bottled water. Was anyone else in this storm? What is the worst storm you've ever experienced? How did you survive?

    Meh I'll bite. Catagory 2 hurricane made its way into Texas we was in a house that had hurricane reinforcements in it at the time, so i just slept right through it. Before i crashed for the night was fun though I actually went outside into it before it actually reached my area.

    That morning however the whole area where I lived had no power for a week straight, So it was bottled water and MRE meals that whole time span.
