Just a Quick Question

And you can lock it when I get my answer. Thank you in advance.

I want to know the maxium amount of words I can type on the forum in a post. Whenever I write a large load, it says "Request-URI Too Large: The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server." However, I am still able to edit and place more words in. I just want to know so if I do type more (which I really will), it really won't get cut off.

    I think that's 10,000 characters. The "URI-request too large" error usually has nothing to do with typing out a post that's too big unless you have some funky add-ons or virus in your browser or proxies.

    10,000 is default for vBulletin, but it can be altered by someone with cpanel admin access.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.
