    Just for style reasons, I'd say. :P

    It's a little different if you're spending your own money on it, but still. :P I'm a total cheapass and at least half of my mounts are the low-end kind (well okay... I own two snow cubs, a crimson leaper, a dark charger, a panther which I just double-spurred yesterday, a sika deer, and a kirin which won't be in use til my Sin hits 60... you be the judge).

    I ride a Rose Gold Gourd that an old faction leader gave me. I have had many people tell me it was too feminine for a male warrior to ride.     I'll quote my comment in another thread since it applies here:
    "Girly" is the most ridiculous argument ever devised. It's a damn online game, who's going to care? XD If anything, using such a mount makes you more respectable for bucking the trend... hell, my fac's leader rides a Ninetails, and he's a male BM with full TT90 armor (which looks more than a little silly astride the Ninetails, but it's also hilariously awesome).

    I can't boast of riding a Ninetails myself, but that's mostly because a double-spurred panther suits my style better (I do own an all-class butterfly pet, though, which could arguably be called "Girly" :P). If the Ninetails suits your style [...] then get it, "girly" comments be damned. :)
    The only valid complaint against males on Ninetails is if they can't pull it off stylistically. Yeah, I admit female chars look better on it, but you can still ride one out of a sense of irony if nothing else. It's all an aesthetic thing. And sure, some people just don't look quite right on one, but that's true of a lot of mounts and a lot of players because, lest we forget, style is subjective. ;)

    Anyways, in my opinion you could use it, if you really like it, but I voted don't do it, since I wouldn't use it on a male char myself.
