how do i change my char's appearance?

i heard u can get a makeover scroll from a quest, is that true? or is there another way?

    When you first create your character there is a "grace period" where you can continue to change it, after that, it's more or less fixed unless you get a Makeover Scroll. There's a level 28 quest that gets you a free Makeover Scroll, so if you need one, you're just a few levels away from getting one. You can also buy one from the Boutique for 2 gold (under Shop -> Misc.) or from other players who have one.
