I had an idea, that seems to work well, and I thought I'd share it with everyone. I was in a duel the other day with a lvl 75 bm, when I started to think about their strengths versus my own. I had accidentally made the incorrect apothicary item (I intended to make a flourish orb, but made a death river toxin instead b:surrender ), and well I decided to duel him twice. after the first duel lets just say, I wasnt really happy over the fact that I lost... It wasnt a resounding lose, but I still lost b:cry

I asked him if I could test something on him and I watched him skill. I remembered someone telling me about a bm's "red ring" or Altermarrow Physical, and how they get nearly no mdef, so I waited until he decided to use that skill and used my toxin, lets just say, the fight quickly turned the other way, at a dramatic pace.

While I dont think this'll work on every heavy armored opponent, it was an interesting test and did have pretty dramatic results.

he asked how I managed to beat him and I simply told him I used an apothicary poison to increase my damage against you. Cheating? yea, I cheated, I'll admit it, but it was a good work around against him.

Has anyone else tried this with success or has it turned into mud, I intend to try it again tonight sometime if I manage to find a close leveled blade or barb.
Apparently its more difficult to milk a smurf than originally conceived..

thats the general way to do it. use a Matt pot. couple this with tangling mire for better results

the main reason you won my friend is because alter marrow increases your magic defence at the cost of lowering your physical defence. and you are a physical class.

He said phys marrow. That's the one that increases phys def at the cost of mdef. No sane BM uses mag marrow against a phys class in a duel.

ANYthing that DEcreases Pdef on heavy armors INcreases your Physical damage.
Wethere it be a genie skill or Apo, or a combo of both, when timed right they change the balance in your favor.

But don't forget they have genies & apos too ;)

    invisible.....

2 spark -> inner harmony -> wolf emblem -> tangling mire -> powerdash -> regular attacks.... -> extreme poison.

    ok now seriously....

current reality: 300% (2 spark) + 60% (dagger mastery) + 230% (inc crit dmg) + 40%more crit chance + minus phys def (tangling mire) + 20% inc dmg (extreme poison)

    ouch... someones gonna die.

now... when we get sage or demon:

    sage: 500%(3 spark) + 90%(dagger mastery) + 230%(inc crit dmg) + 40% more crit chance + tangling mire + extreme poison

lol someone somewhere is gonna fall down some stairs by accident
lol someone somewhere is gonna shat their pants
lol someone somewhere is gonna slip on a banana peel
lol someone somewhere is gonna mistake gorilla **** for nutella

...then someones gonna die. b:cry ....ijs
