1.) How do you level up with a passive skills, such as Blacksmith?

2.) I just decomposed a weapon about a 30 min's ago and I when to the blacksmith and this message showed up at the end:



Do have to wait for another day?

I know someone'll point out that says "Tailer skill level 1 required" at the top b:shocked


but regardless, I get the same message and am confused. I have all my manufacturing skill at level 3, and will take the correct item to the correct npc and get that msg. Sometimes, it also doesn't say the skill level required.

What's going on?

Did you increase your skills my making your own weapons? I do have a tailor but its at level one.

To answer the OP's first question, you level up your crafting skills (Blacksmith, Tailor, Craftsman, and Apothecary) by crafting. If you make things that require the same level of crafting you have, you'll gain experience (i.e making an item that needs lvl 2 crafting with lvl 2 in that skill). After you've gained the amount you need you go to any Elder and get the next lvl just like any other skill. There are some that you need to do a quest for though. You can find info on those in the quest help section. And just so you know, making something that's below your crafting lvl (making something that needs lvl 2 crafting when you have lvl 3) won't give you any exp towards the next lvl.


As for the second question, I'm not really sure what exactly is going on, and so can't help.
