So Demon or sage?

okay i got really close to 89 b:victory
and now iam really confused which to choose b:embarrass
so what's the best for a cleric sage or demon? =p

    Personally i think if you don't have a full mag build you should go as Sage, since it will increase the IH power (which is based on your base magic attack. Higher mag means higher magic attack). But if you already is a full mag cleric, it is totally up to your goes.
    As you said, Demon is really good on grinding, but not only on that. It will also be good on PvP. Going as Sage will increase your heal power, so if you want to easily keep your friends alive, thats the path.

    So far i decided for Demon, in order to open a new way over than just heal.

    i dont know why people even ask this question... YOU are the person that plays your cleric, YOU know your play style and what is best for YOUR cleric :p
    i know some epic demon clerics and im an epic sage cleric ROFL
    read over the sage and demon skills and find out what suits YOU better. there is no right choice, if clerics were meant to be sage or meant to be demon- you wouldnt get the choice. SO HAVE FUN! - make your cleric your own b:cute

    If pple cant use search and look up info, sage or demon it doesnt matter WHAT their gonna be. They wont be able to look up the essentials anyway.

    Sleep doesn't give speed debuff
    Purify doesn't require chi
    Plume shot casts faster
    Cyclone hits harder.
    Wield thunder has debuff
    Stream of rejuvenation gives extra p.def

    I've seriously lost count on how many Sage vs. Demon threads people have been posting, and it's really getting depressing to see how little thought people actually put into the versions before sharing their opinion in this thread.

    Both the versions have their ups and downs in the pve and pvp sector. Choosing the demon version of a cleric might be good if you are going to pvp on whatever server, then again, with a few compensations a Sage version cleric can do just as well. The sage buffs and debuffs are scary in comparison with the lvl 10 skills, the attack strength of a demon cleric is frightening in comparison to that.

    For example, if you go Sage you will get a skill that gives you half a spark which is very useful. As a Demon you willbe able to take away half a spark from someone, although that half spark doesn't go to you.

    there are some lvl 11 also give chi so fk the sage free chi(wellspring)
    faster res > far res
    no chi purify>faster purify(1 sec cool down is not enough? why need even faster lol)
    aoe heal more > bigger range aoe heal
    sage: harder plume shot? plume shot pretty useless as end game as people stacks a bunch of phys shards
    sage: bigger razor feathers? who use it? (only for grinding, but who grind now o_o)
    sage: longer freeze? even with lvl 10 sometimes freeze only works for like 5 sec?
    sage: longer debuffs i'll take it as little better than demon's
    sage: longer sleep? it's the same.. while demon no speed debuff(considering you're fighting a close range and try to get away)
    sage metal mastery, yea sure it's better than demon's 2% more crit

    also not to mention
    Stream of reju give 100% more phys + recover mass amount of hp
    and if you're sage you need to use sage vanguard with stream to give the same effect(who care about 25 chi)
    i wont say anything about the demon and sage spark.

    overall, Sage v. Demon = depends on play style

    do you want more defense or more spike damage? <-- the simple way

    both sides can be viewed as even, once again, depending on how you play and how you see your cleric

    i chose sage for a better chance to survive attacks by multiple entities. All the offense in the world would be useless if i my endurance is limited to 1v1 or 2. As for attacks and channeling, that depends on build so i wouldnt say that its 'better', it depends on what you lack is what i think. If your not full mag, then possibly demon will be more popular to them. To others, they might already excel in the dmg genre so they can 'afford' to go sage. Then there are the others that are uncertain of their build, so they choose sage/demon by which ever effects SOUNDS good...

    but i came up with a solution
    go +12 everything and you dont need to worry about sage/demon(only worry about what color of spark you like better)
    +12 will give you hp that you lack as a full int
    +12 will give you even more dmg
    +12 will give you more def
    +12 will make you stand out

    once you're done +12-ing your gears then choose the color of spark(red or pink) you'd like to have.
    and since this game is heavily cashshop, so then this is very reasonable.
