PWI must do someone the whole "red map"

Title should be "PWI must do something about the whole "red map." GMs, There must be something you can do about this whole TW monopoly for months, where coins go into the pockets of a small group of people!!! These coins stockers may just sell their overloaded coins for real $ - then we have a scenario where u PWI create the game for a few people to make a living. If they don't sell for real $, at a certain points they can turn the economy upside down as they please. With the coins they don't even need to spend a single real $ on this game which hurt u, yes ur company PWI.

actually i think for pwi, it's better for one faction to control all the lands, because then if any other players want to beat nef, they need a good faction and equipment. Faction are easy to find, but equipment are not. Having the goal to beat the superfaction would drive people to spend money in game. On the other hand when there was two superfaction, nobody would be QQ because the war hasn't been decided yet and the need to spend money is less apparent.

On a serious note. Nef can be beaten, if all the top players not in nef banded together and work as a unit. The problem right now is that most top players who aren't in nef are spread out over several faction, thus diminishing their power.

its easier said than done tho. If you have several houses and say, a parking lot needs to be built and someone says "lets scrap 4 of the 5 standing houses, and everyone use the remaining 1 house", everyone will want THEIR house to be standing because of diff. reasons.

I was just joking :P but with the whole 4/5 house thingy.. Why would 1 house remain? I think the most logical thing would be to make an entire new faction name and then merge the top players not it Nef into that new faction.

realistically speaking, unless your a fac hopper, scrapping the 'house' you put time and 'mortgage' into, is extremely hard. Also because of the fact that if it fails, even if you go back to your faction it wont be the same again...

No offense, but merging everyone into 1 faction would accomplish nothing. The power needs to be spread across 3 factions.

Regi already has more than 80 100+, 200 100+ wouldn't make a difference since u can only have 80 in one instance against them.

The triple attack needs to consist of 240 100+ 80 100+ on all the 3 fronts lol.. a 1v1 of 80 100+ is just most likely a stalemate.

No one will merge to create three power factions. The officers and high levels in other smaller factions like where they are. Nobody will be willing to relinquish their "coat of arms"... so to speak... to form into three factions aimed at achieving a common goal. No it makes much more sense to remain divided and keep ourselves as minimally powerful as possible. But at least that officer position over your name looks really nice 8D

I don't care about the titles above my head. What bothers me more is the authority in those new superfactions... Last time the leadership-switch happened in our faction... lol.. well let's me & a few others kinda.. made him quit... b:sin

The problem is that it is too easy for the most powerful faction to hold the whole map. The issue is that no matter how many factions attacks, the most that is ever needed to be defended is only 3 at a time.

It doesn't matter if there are 5 guilds attacking or 50, an attack is only as strong as the strongest triple attack. If you can defend against that there is nothing to stop endless growth. It basically is just as easy to defend 50 lands as it is to defend 3 lands.

The best change that could be made would be to increase the 3 attackers at a time limit or better yet remove it all together.

That would naturally make holding more and more territory increasingly difficult (as it should be). While the best guilds would hold the most land, it would be very hard to hold the whole map without being truly extraordinary.


As it is the small guilds that don't have much chance are actively discouraged from attacking so as to not disrupt the one triple attack that has a chance.

They do own most of the map, but they're not gods. The problem is, right now, people can QQ all they want about Nef owning the map -- but they're not motivated *enough* to make the necessary sacrifices to take Nef off the map.

I like the idea of removing the 3 defenses at a time limit. Each faction should still be able to make only one attack a week, but there should be no limit on the number of territories they may need to defend at a time. It makes the most logical sense, as it would be a sort of self-regulation for the map. As mentioned, only an extremely strong faction could hold a lot of lands if they had to defend against multiple (more than 3) attacks at the same time. It'd also allow smaller factions to get on the map, or at least experience TW. As it is, TWing is a joke and a waste of money for most factions. The current situation makes one wonder what the point is to pay 500k+ to bid in TW, only to be wiped out in 5-10 minutes.. and that happens more often than not, in MANY of the weekly TWs.

Then I fail to see why a more serious attempt at merging smaller factions into three strong factions hasn't come into play yet. Like I said, I think few are really willing to relinquish their own faction name in order to participate in this.

I will be honest, Legendary currently has around 160 players in it. At my best guess maybe 120 of these are actually active players and less than 100 are actually going into TW. I am sure there are other active TW factions out there that fit into this mold.

Frankly I don't see any faction other than Regi and Nef being able to front a full 80 for any given attack. And especially not a worthy 80 composed of end game players like Regicide and Nefarious.
