How good are wizards supposed to be lvl 15?

I have a wiz as an alt and hes a pure, he has all spells all best armor and weps for him and is needing 4-5 attacks to kill by thne my hp is half way down is this correct because on my psy h ran in there and killed everything in 2 hits

    1. Psy has faster cast.
    2. Earlier knockback.
    3. Better earlier slow.

    1. Wizard pyro need to reach enemy not instant.
    2. Wizard skill need longer time to cast.
    3. Wizard were pain full and won't be very good until you reach end game. (where they pawn)

    And many variety of spell (element) at earlier lv was more on favor for psychic. (earth and water)
    Probably the element problem.

    Leveling a wizard is a pain in the **** until maybe 7x. It's still annoying all the way to the gamma range. After 9x, I pretty much just leveled with dailies alone. (Didn't bother with delta until I got level 100 and wanted to finish some cultis).

    lvl gush and pyro
    use gush and pyro
    kite if you need to
    you wont get hit pre lvl20 0.o
