Yeah, we did it finally. Sad to say it was waaaaaay simpler than I wanted it to be. But we got through it rather quick and few deaths. Worst part was when we Leroy'ed at the beginning of the earth valley lol.

Took on Relic of Wind... shame they nerfed him so much. I actually thought that the water DoT woulda killed me the 2 times it hit me but it didn't.

He rewarded us with an Unknown Tinder though ^^

Much love to the squad we took. Lowest level was an 88, highest a 96.

Here's a short video, you can see the first drop picked up was an unknown tinder. Somewhere I heard those were rare drops...? Perhaps just a fluke that we got it then but eh. it was fun =)

    lmao I know right? He hit me like twice with that water attack and mp burned me after amping him xD it was crazy! but soooo fun.

    But next time we'll all have a pizza party and drink some milkshakes or something lol. and certainly not that early in the morning x.x

    rofl I need to replace the stamina I used. that and my small magic pots Dx I used almost all of them.

    Next time I'll take Sig up on that Jade Powder >.< I shoulda brought those to begin with cause I was kinda not wanting to use the Concentrate orbs he made. Thank goodness for transfusion and ToP :P

    Meh, I did it today... felt like a glorified solo mode run. It's really not harder at all than solo mode except everything has more hp. I miss the old lunar... just like I miss the old FF. Ah, to have instances which are actually challenging instead of a cakewalk, and now that people have the gear to do the instances they're nerfed...

    PWI did the same thing to lunar as they did to FF... except now it's to drain coins from the server in exchange for gear, instead of exchanging it for xp.

    Warsong's the only hard instance now, and it's not even worth the time. b:cold


    @ Ducky: I just put my herc on all 3 adds and the rest of the squad killed the tower in melee range, you don't have to tank anything (not that it dealt any damage when we tried ranged tanking it).
    HT clerics at their finest:

    hari: can you do mdef debuffs? makes the fight go faster
    naughty_x: waste, I do more damage without them
    hari: ...you do more damage in 2 seconds than reducing mdef by 35% for 4 casters does in 20 seconds?
    naughty_x: is waste, i do more damage

    hari: 3-3 BH goes a lot faster with a sin
    naughty_x: no, only a difference of like 3 minutes
    hari: ...we've been in here a lot longer than 3 minutes already

    Actually, it curses from range and attacks with if I recall a pure earth magic. We didn't even have to deal with the adds. Just had Malord and Doomie attacking from max range, the cleric (Swirlie) healed as necessary. They adjusted it so that my range for my scarabs isn't good enough as when i tried I aggroed all 3 adds and nearly wiped the party.

    I like that Lunar is more gear oriented than exp. I don't care about getting exp so much as I really would like my gear. And having it easier just means more people can do their quests that they get, and even if they so choose, to get some gear.

    Warsong is actually not that hard, just need to properly know how to do it. The group I finished it with, it took us a few tries to get it right, spent 3 hours ish total in one full run?
    Once we knew exactly how to split up our squad amongst the 5 elements, it was easy, all 5 bosses are easy, and yes the metal boss is tankable without glitching it. And the last boss Incarcerator? something like that, he was quite hard, but when we figured out what we needed to do, it was just like any other boss in this game.

    Farming warsong for the belt is actually worth the time and effort but not many realize it, we ended up getting 8 Warsong enscriptions (need 80 for the belt). Give those to 1 person and you can get someone their end game belt in a few days if you keep at it, then work for the rest of the squad.

    Has anyone else finished warsong in this server?

    Group was Keita, kasmog, fimmelpotze, Carnivorix, MilkyWay and myself.

    Idc cause we never had a herc veno to hold the adds so it adds some challenge to what i can and can't tank b:victory
