Can PWI see what IP address you are logging on with?

    I want to say yes because a friend of mine tried to sell his account and then got busted on it and pw said if they were watching him if a different ip logs onto his account then he will be banned. Could be what they said or not but I am pretty sure they can see it.

    The real question is more about, if someone were to use my Credit Card, or PayPal to buy zen, could PWI find out who it is for me?

    Um how would pwi find out who uses your credit card? Um I think pay pal would be able to help you on that but I don't think that falls under PWI's jurisdiction. Its something you have to go to your credit card company or pay pal for I think.

    Not sure how they know but I gave out my credit card numbers to my girlfriend to charge some zen on her account and she got banned lol. They will send you a warning email first if no one responds to that or you try to charge again you get the banhammer. PW had to contact me so they knew I let her use my credit card and cleared it so her account could use my credit card. She was unbanned. PW I gotta say is the only company in my gaming career that has ever done this. The games I used to play used paypal as well but never had a problem with my credit card being used on my girlfriends account. It does make me feel better about my credit security when it comes to PW.

    I don't recommend giving out your credit card numbers. Just charge it on your account and buy what the person needs and trade it. No need for giving out your personal info and everything in boutique you can trade so its the same thing only problem is you and the other person have to be online at the same time.

    The IP thing feel free to submit a ticket to get a real answer. I think they have a system where if more then X amount of IP's log in that certain account within X amount of time it gets banned since they know you might be at college in between classes and you log on pw, or on a trip at a hotel and logging on pw, or visiting a relatives bored and want to play pw, but if its more then 10-15 different IP's in a week that's kinda obvious its not just one person. Thats just my idea though.
