There's alot of thread of Sage/Demon already..
But i need some advice, i want to know if someone regret their choice and why.
If you think that you lack of something useful.

Sage Heal vs Demon Heal
Sage m.atk vs Demon m.atk
etc...

That will prolly help me more than all the debate about the skills book.
I like to pvp as much as i like to heal and keep everyone safe.
I know Demon can do both, Sage as well, but still.
You can see how confused i'm.

The only people that would regret their decision is someone who didnt research their skills at all.

I regret going sage cause of Sage IH vs Demon IH. I thought Sage Spirits Gift would compensate the mp restore... however it turns out even the ingame skill description is.... um... a bit ... misleading...

WARNING TO ALL WHO ARE PLANNING TO GET SAGE SPIRITS GIFTS:
it does NOT restore the target's MP as stated in description. Only YOUR Mp b:surrender

    http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=598561

id browse through that poll, its full of views/opinions/comparisons.

Attempting to make a decision about your path based on other peoples' regrets will be misleading.

Both paths will have a regret about the other, getting you no where. At times I wish I went sage for the Chi skill, but thats pretty much the only skill id want from sage.

I too was question Sage or Demon....I read so many threads, watched Videos, talked to high lvl Clerics, read forums on the skillz. I had decided I was going Sage for the TW skillz. Now after reasding this thread I'm no longer so sure. Especially after reading about the Sage Spirit Gift not restoring target's Mp. My Husband and I do alot of AoE grinding ( He's a BM) as well as TT, FC (soon) CSG, restoreing his Mp would be quite useful. In almost everything I read it said Sage Spirit Gift would do that but now reading this thread, I need to go back and do some more research. Thinking about it now...MP restore would be very useful in TW as well. So I'm back to being unsure but I'd rather be unsure and do more research than regret going one way or the other.Good Luck

I have no regrets, I love being sage b:chuckle Today in frost, before we started:

Tank: Just tell me if you're not ready to BB because you don't have the chi.
Me: I'm sage, I never don't have chi.

    I imagine target is you.
    Spirit's Gift
    Range 28.0meters
    Mana 595
    Channel 0.5 second
    Cast 1.0 second
    Cooldown 1.0 second
    Weapon Unarmed, Magic Instruments

Requisite Cultivation Aware of the Myriad
Increase the target's weapon magic attack bonus by 70%
for 30 minutes. Grants the target 900 MP over 15 seconds.

Sage version adds 900 MP over 15 seconds.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    I imagine target is you.

Not really. The target is the target. Not yourself.

Lets use ironheart as an example:
    Ironheart Blessing

    Mana 27.0
    Channel 1.0 seconds
    Cast 1.0 seconds
    Cooldown 1.0 seconds
    Weapon Unarmed, Magic Instruments

    Requisite Cultivation Spiritual Initiate
Bless the target to recover 84 HP plus 3% of
your base magic attack over 15 seconds.

Now, does ironheart heal the person you clicked, or youself? Just another wack translation.
I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

Personally, i don't really care about the Chi Skill, cause theres a Genie skill ( Cloud Eruption ) that gives Chi, i need to test that skill. Every Demon Cleric should have it~

    At lvl 1.

''Emits a cloud of invigorating energy,
    granting 1 Chi to yourself
    plus an additional 10 Chi.

Strength: Every 2 Genie Strength points increase the Chi gained by 1 ''

It would heal the person you clicked I am not sure as to why it says target on Spirits Gift as I know it is yourself.

    It says here.
    Spirit's Gift (92)
Sage version adds 900 MP over 15 seconds.
Demon version grants an additional 150% to magic attack for the first 10 seconds.
It doesn't say anything about target.

I have that genie skill and i have to say the description is wrong. It actually gives you 1 spark plus an additional 10 Chi.
