I wouldn't worry about it right now - always keep it equiped though, and it'll automatically gain some XP as you do (it doesn't take anything away from your own XP). Personally, I'd wait until lvl 30 - when you have access to Crazy Stone quests - to start feeding it XP (and until much later, you should ONLY be feeding it XP - you're going to need your SP).

You really don't need a Genie right now anyway - only issue with not leveling it is the further behind it is, the more XP is 'wasted' when you do level it up.

Blue and Purple are challenge quests - typically these are tough quests (involving killing bosses or elite mobs), though sometimes part of the quest can be easy. You'll also get Yellow quests, which are for spritual cultivation (and often involve killing bosses too).

Dont worry about the genie it will level eventually, and once you have extra spirit you can level it also.

On a weapon it decreases when you attack or use a skill.
On armour it reduces when you get hit.

To repair, go to any merchant, choose trade, the repair buttons are at the bottom of that trade window.
NOT the 'repair shatterred gear' conversation option.

The first couple characters I made in PWI I leveled up my genies with my character, but later realized that they DO level on their own. It seems best not to bother wasting your exp or spirit on them until you get to level 30 and can dump some on them after doing a daily crazy stone.

Read the forum guides on how to build them and go to the Watcher of the Earth to learn what skills they can have before dropping any attribute points on them.
