BM questions

Ive just got a couple of questions about BM before i see if want to roll one. Planing to do Axe build and im more asking towards end game as lvling with any class is usualy tedius at begining lvls so base answers off of that.
1. Are they wanted in partys such as late game raids or boss fights and are they good at PvE in general?
2. If built right how do they fare in 1v1 and Mass PvP such as TW?
3. Are they costly such as armor/weps repair cost, cash shop items needed? Anything from ingame gold to real money i want to kno if they will be costly and not advisable for first char.
any anwers would help thx.

BMs are the gods of 1v1 combat if played right able to stun lock opponents for 12 seconds till when ever you run out of chi and a fist BM with - interval gear will kill anything 1v1 even if it has 20k hp and aload of phys def. never done TW but heard bms are a real pain with there aoe stun and aoe attacks and HF makes wizards see big numbers pop up on there sceens

Anything from ingame gold to real money i want to kno if they will be costly and not advisable for first char.Costly, yes with the biggest skill set of any class costing over 100mil to get every skill to lvl 10. armour repair costs are high due to always getting hit. charms will really just depends on your play style, if you have a full on charge in kill everything at once play style then exspect to be burning though charms pretty quickly. overall a good class to start with balance damage balance defence with marrows use correctly depends on you if there gonna be costly or not.

BM's are useful in every instance, I tank pretty much every boss in HH, Nirvana, FB's simply because its easier for me to keep aggro than the barb, if people think BM's arent useful to their squad they have never been with a good one.
PvP is our weakest point as we are a melee class which means in mass pvp we take a lot of hits while we get in range but once you make it into range you can start to dish out alot of hurt in a very short period of time. Make sure you have a good amount of HP as you will take 1-2 hits in 1v1 pvp and 3-4 hits in mass pvp before you get in range of anyone.
BM's are one of the cheapest classes to play you only need a +4 weapon +4 armor and a decent genie (coupled with a decent amount of vit) to actually be effective at high levels. Of course more coins spent on your gear improves your performance but even with low refines due to marrows and high HP you can fight effectively unlike certain classes (archer, mage) which require large amounts of refines to be effective.0 -
During Instances we usually have 4 main purposes.
To DD although we do lesser damage compared to archers or mages.
Crowd Control: Using stuns to keep mobs off of the squishy classes with lower hp. As important as a cleric might be, most of which are useless while running around in a circle being chased by a physical mob.
Damage Amp/debuffs: Dragons, Glacial Spike, Sword Stance maybe a few genie skills. All of which work wonders on bosses if timed with the rest of the party correctly.
Btw if you have a pole bm and an axe bm in a party ( or a bm who follows both paths with 3 sparks) and have them sync glacial spike and heavens flame the debuff is amazing. Decreased M. & P. Def + Increased damage. b:dirty
Throwing in Extreme Poison and tangling mire in (both of which will stack with both of the above skills)will make it even sweeter.
Myriad can save the tank if his hp gets too low.
I usually give up my double spark erupt for the sake of letting everyone else do more damage.
Aoe In situations where mobs scatter we can round them up and kill them with ease.
Our aoe is Essential in RB and Frost.
In PvP once you get stun locking down you can take on lvls 10+ above you.
We are neccesary in TW's, again because of our aoe.
Roar of pride is pure gold in mass pvp.
Usually we end up sacrificing ourselfs for the "important" classes who cant take the heat. b:cute0 -
For FCC and Delta (the two ways to level fast in your 90s) people really really want BMs In fact, one of the classes where two of them are sought out at times for them. Seriously, two BM delta and i can go charmless ^_^Navarre was your everyday veno, until she learned her true form. Now she's fox walloping and purging over and over again.. all for a deep stinging, head hunting, wind pushing Assassin. Will there be inner harmony and myriad rainbows? But of course!
