Nirvana or Rank 8?

Subject says it all... which is better for a demon archer, Nirvana gears or rank 8 and why?

    nirvana with the proper stats by far

    edit: for bow only, rank8 also gives an amazing chest and good ring, if money wasn't an option i would probably pick rank8. nirvana is cheaper and farmable and if advanced soul shatter is 10%...

    It's been a while since I've taken a peek, but for the negative interval bonus I believe the second grade of nirvana offers a -.05 on leggings as well as-.01 on wrist and/or chest plate.

    its only on pants and gloves. rank 8 archer = only -.1 interval armor.

    I dont see the point of these questions...
    If you buy your rank 8 and unlock all that gear, you'll still farm for nirvana later, wont u? If you invest on nirvana now, you'll still farm rep later wont u? They way i see it, just buy the dam rank 8, which will give you instant access to that sweet gear, then farm nirvana when you feel like it. Eventually you'll have the best gears at your disposal.

    Military rank nv 8 is the best option to have the most damage possible. Nirvana is good, but loses in critical damage and attack speed, noting that it comes with the best available adds.

    FOR Archer only. Any other class of weapon nirvana ends up being more

    Nirvana bows don't lose in attack speed, and they get a 10% chance to purge someone which makes a really big difference in killing and well its great at **** people over.
    Navarre was your everyday veno, until she learned her true form. Now she's fox walloping and purging over and over again.. all for a deep stinging, head hunting, wind pushing Assassin. Will there be inner harmony and myriad rainbows? But of course! Yuri&Lemon Find it on Fanfiction XD "Discovering Sanctuary" Chapter 2 is up ^_^

    Wrong ...
    The biggest add attack speed of the bow Nirvana is 0.05 while that of fame has an add from -0.1. Only way the bow nirvana is going to match two adds, which would further damage and possible critical. Not to mention fame as armor from -0.1.

    And hoping to get a chance to turn the soul shatter is discouraging b:bye

    you do realize that each nirvana run you might maybe get just 1 raptrue crystal? you need 250 total recast your weapon all the way to G15. Unless you got a good group of friends just buy R8 and wait till more 100's come around.

    No, you said nirvana bow can't have -0.1 unless it's 2x -0.05, you can get -0.1 as a single stat. Not to mention the 10% debuff chance or +attack level..

    That's interesting. Guess w2.wanmei is also incomplete in terms of possible attributes on weapons. I checked on their site that there were no -0.1s interval available for fists but the screenshot clearly shows otherwise.

    I haven't gone to the effort of translating the full thing, but the name translates (roughly) to "Shatter spirit pond". According to [Translation] Nirvana Ranged Weapons, that's Advanced Soul Shatter all right.

    Actually, based purely on w2.wanmei's tables and that screenshot, it is fairly logical to assume that even bows can acquire -0.1s interval.

    Also, you could just acquire both bows - r8 for killing and nirvana for adv. soul shatter.

    that picture could have been photoshopped by someone? nirvana fists shouldn't have soul shatter and -0.1 int isn't listed. I've looked at a large number of pictures of nirvana weapons on the CN server and all of them conformed to the stats listed on the site.

    Could very well be because so far only this picture has inconsistencies with what is listed at w21.wanmei.

    I'm interested as to where this picture came from actually. Would you happen to know the source, Devoted?

    I've been thinking about this possibility and I examined the SS's...

    Notice that the SS of weapon that has two additional 0.05 to distance between the 5 and the next symbol Chinese is quite large. Since the SS which has the additional -0.1 the distance between the 1 and the same letter is virtually nonexistent. Not to mention that the quality of SS is very bad.
